@chris-osborne in fairness I was at pains to say they'd earned the right and was respectful. I met the man a couple of times and he was a proper gentlemen. They've been incredible for the club.

@chris-osborne Hi Chris my only thing with Rogers is that he over intellectualises everything.. loves his technical terms in an interview and tries to come across as a guru.. if I'm a player and he does that in team talks id get fed up quite quickly. Other thing with Leicester is that Vardy and co.. fantastic as they've been are too strong in the dressing room, the owner is too pally with the players (though the owners haver earned the right because what they've done for the club is incredible) but that changes the dynamic in the dressing room.. thats why when Rogers first came in he publicly cosied up to Vardy and Morgan .. but how healthy is that for the long term.. they've done great and as you say injuries have been a big blow but I find myself always looking to the sustainability of a culture and it does concern me at Leicester. And Rogers again is a bit of a boom and bust manager.. albeit I hope for you they re discover their form. Its a good club.
In view of the helicopter crash from a couple of years ago let’s not discuss our ownership please.

hope you have a great day mate!

@dan-mackinnon Didn't know that Dan and obviously thats a major event for him, and you are right about injuries but equally and a Liverpool supporting mate of mine agrees with this last year you had the most unbelievable run of luck with no injuries to speak of and decisions etc .. you'd earned it by the way.. but football does balance things out.

@Mark-Maguire @Ryan-Carruthers Am I right in saying that Klopp's dad passed away due to Covid? You also had a few players impacted by Covid. I'm not making excuses but they are still human and that's got to affect your performance in some way.
Also, Liverpool (Leicester and Palace) have had the most injuries this season which means players have to do more in an already packed season, just off an extended season. The teams that are doing well are the ones that have the fewest injuries.

@mark-maguire I can see this with Liverpool, I mean Klopp said after the game he took Salah off because he was tired, I saw him shout at Salah for not tracking back then straight away he comes off... I think Mane and Salah are both buggered lol in fact I think a lot of the players are.
That's down to Klopp though - injuries aside you've had players you could have used. Taki, Origi etc.... they aren't at the level of the others but the others are way off the pace its criminal.
I see the same with us to be honest we had 9 players out against Burnley with only Fofana likely to play tomorrow it’s derailing our season and I can’t see anyway we’ll finish top 4 now. We’ve had significant injuries all season but now starting to catch up with us.
We have players in the team or on the bench who aren’t ready or good enough for the premier league.
We look absolutely knackered and Rogers has already said he can’t rest players like Tielemans right now even though he wants to.
The schedule is criminal in all fairness, next week is the first week we haven’t had a midweek game in two months and we’re not alone in that all the teams are doing is recovery and playing games, there is very little actual training going on to work on things and improve.
With the Euros looking more likely to go ahead, as well as potentially the olympics I see no change next season either.
Rogers isn’t using injuries as an excuse saying he has to get creative with team selection but as with Liverpool and others it’s obviously having an effect.
-
@ryan-carruthers I agree Ryan. Equally his whole methodology feeds off the intensity of the crowd and everyone.. players will buy into it.. but won the title, won the league, no crowds doesn't feel the same and Mane, Salah etc will be being courted by the likes of Barca and Madrid.. the mind will wander, the gaffers voice will get boring .. and as you suggest its at Klopps door to tackle it..but who inspires the bloke whose meant to inspire everyone? He's a complex character thats for sure.

Nothing of much value on my main filter today for Split Stake but expect goals in the Austrian & Swiss matches below (Split Stake S/R for Austrian 2nd tier 89% & Swiss 2nd tier 88% I look for 90% as strong)
Have set up all the following games on small £10 total stakes to test my new bot again and will be taking the rest of the day off to celebrate my big 60
My daughter knows me well... She said last night how did I make it this far bless her

@richard-latimer @Lee-woodman The hierarchy simply can't ignore the extent of the injuries to key players .. the only concern will be that when it imploded at Dortmund it did so big time and the worry with Klopp is the intensity with which he works and demands he places - at some point that has to tip over the edge, players will become weary with it. There was an example of it in a mini way a few years ago I came across.. and no way comparing this to Klopp, but Martin O'Neill when he was manager at Villa had a Scottish fitness coach who was copying the methods of a Scandinavian team that had done well in Europe. The principle was run them further than they've ever run, run them again, then run them.. They were incredible for the first four or five months of the season then blew up.. the worry with Liverpool will be that its the equivalent mentally.

@alan-steward Happy birthday Alan, have yourself a cracking day
