Yep, Maastricht game was on my filter and was loaded on my bot this morning so hopefully it comes in.
Re Sporting Gijon game Alcorcon have had two 0-0's within their last 5 away games so will avoid that one but hopefully it comes in if you're already in it
Laying 0-0 on this one 70th min
Almere that is
Was just about to post about the perfect timing ffs haha
1-0

@richard-latimer Should be goals mate... And the Uruguay game should have some goals in it (Plaza Colonial)... Will enter a Split Stake on 15mins if still 0-0
-
@alan-steward Yea just keeping an eye on it. In play stats, and watching some of it isn't doing it for me so may pass.

I'm keeping an eye on the Sporting Gijon v Alcorcon game too. If still 0-0 after 60 might look to LCS or LTD

Evening gang gone for a FHG at Maastricht matched at 1.63.
Not to be but on for a 2HG will wait a bit tho.
I'm on O1.5, hoping for a quick early SHG

Games tonight:
Maastricht v Almere - will almost certainly enter O1.5, but if there is lots of attacking early on I might enter O2.5
Castellon v Espanyol - O1.5 market, Laliga2 has been really good for me recently on overs. Depending on how it goes I'll look at LCS at HT, both teams have been scoring lots of SHG this season
Maastricht on my watch list too for SHG, odds/score dependent

@karl-mccarthy Yea I have wondered about using it that sort of way but I cannot decide if it would be a good thing or a bad thing. You're right though, exciting it would be
-
@matt-wood I would love to see a change in VAR where a team manager has two calls per match. Use them up too early and your striker goes down in the box in the 89th min and ref says no peno, would be exciting stuff.
-
@dan-mackinnon I agree, it should be up to the officials. Was just wondering if they make this change we might get that initial surge in goals which might be good for trading for a while.
-
@matt-wood The book Soccernomics they explain how every adjustment shows an increase in goals initially, but then teams adapt and eventually the average goal reverts back to around 2.5 per game. VAR is meant to spot "clear and obvious" errors, not whether someone's big toe is offside. They also don't have the cameras in place to detect the exact moment the pass has been made and the millimetre difference if they were to use something like goalline technology.
Personally, I think it should be up to the officials to decide whether the player being offside would actually make a difference. If the defender was facing the wrong way but the attacking player was full sprint, it doesn't matter if you move them back 1m they're still going to get to the ball first.

Agree with @Darri and @Richard-Latimer . The officials will find a way to make a mess of it. The big problem we have with VAR is in its application not the technology.
Interesting to see what happens though, as the vid said, it would be the biggest change to the rule for a long time.

I remember wenger and mourinho both saying this is how it should be done when they both did a tv panel together. I think its better than what we have right now. Richard is right tho the way we are trying to use var as if its an exact science is still gonna kill it. The use of var in cricket and rugby is by no means perfect but its not there to make it an exact science and see the exact thing that happened. Its meant to just be there to cut out the obvious errors. In both those sports when its a decision that is too close to call they give benefit of the doubt to the original decision via soft signals. Its then vars job to find evidence that there was a clear and obvious error. Football var think they are better than everything else and its ruining the game so many times. Iv been lucky trading wise a few times with var but im sure my bad run of it will come. But its for me ruining the game. They arent even adding on enough time at the end or stopping the clock like they do in other sports when they are checking, massive rehaul i hope but not like they will listen on here to traders profiting from them
