Poor standard (Steven Taylor, donkey extraordinaire for Newcastle, still is a first team regular at the age of 53), but normally that poor standard leads to goals.
There have been very few draws in the A League this year. Bound to be a correction at some point. Unfortunately, the correction happened today.

@martin-walker you do however need to do some effort tracking and work to get a strategy tho in the first place bud, but no reason it cant be on something simple. I did something similar, all the good traders have been through the same. The funny thing is tho the reason your now doing better is due to that burnout stage, you learnt that way wasnt sustainable. But it gave you a tonne of knowledge of what does and doesnt work. Sometimes i feel at some stage you got put a bit of graft to get something out of this. Same with everything else. Now your reaping the rewards of that effort. Just dont want people thinking its super easy to be profitable, remember not everyone has 1 good strategy, there is a learning curve and you have put months into this in learning.

When you want something so bad you put everything into it and push it so hard all day everyday but all it did was mentally burn me out and gave worse results.

keep it simple and repeatable for every trade/day/week/month/year, as long as it consistent there really isnt anything else you need in trading. One strategy mastered is the message i always write about on the blog, its all you need and it makes just as much or more than doing 2-3 average strats for less trades, less time and less effort. Cracking stuff mate big difference from our very first convos on the chat -

You LCS at HT?

Took a step back this month from my life being based heavily around trading. Traded one strategy by using the stats to get my list and set alerts on livescore. HT alert, check score, place trade forget about it.
Gone are the 10 hour days trading weekends for no profit.
I feel mentally refreshed from it all and it resulted in 48% bank growth at about 10% of the effort.I will now evaluate the month and then repeat for another month whilst not spending every minute of the day thinking about how to improve everything.
1 simple strategy does wonders.
