I regret cashing out my U2.5 now. I should of layed the liability and left as a free bet. I did cash out my late goal entry as I reached my stop loss.

@chris-osborne Thanks Chris, I almost always stick to the next goal market with one point liability but just couldn't believe there wouldn't be a goal - schoolboy error I know!

@alastair-todd always stick to your rules mate, the trading gods seem to love to hide and wait for you to try be greedy to punish you.
Stop letting opinion guide your trading. It doesnt matter if the team is barca, arsenal, celtic, crawley town, all that matters is value. Your strategy cant be judged solely on the back of a few losses. Opinions are what the bookies and markets want you to think. Now i have been on both games suggested but it really doesnt bother me, they are but a number on a spreadsheet. At the end of the month i wont even remember what match it was. Try not get annoyed at the individual games. The two games in question arent the big vs small they were both 2 big clubs, so just thinking one of them will score and adding more to your stake is not gonna work long term. Try cut that side out.

@Chris-Osborne i think actual results have been affected ie more away wins but goals wise i havent really seen too much of a difference, at least not with my traded and recorded games. My shg/lates have been working normally. Its one of those things that balances out more away wins but still good amount of goals.

Thing is we over critique the losers because they hurt but as long as your strategy can consume those defeats in the long run thats all that matters. Bad trades will happen regardless of class of team, thats why the bookies love them. Remove the idea behind class of team and just see them as team a vs team b and see if there is value in the game.

@chris-osborne I was laying the current score but didn't stick to my rule not to trade more than one point liability. The mistake I made each time was to assume that two teams of multi-millionaire professional footballers with some big prizes to play for might be able to score at least one goal between them. Obviously I must have been mad!

In addition, I had put one point on a FHG in each match and then decided to see if they could score a goal in the second half, so it totalled more than I would normally put on one match.

That will do me for the day - just watch all the other matches on my filter with goals raining in! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I was doing similar to you when I firsst joined this time last year - couple of suggestions which helped me: -

Instead of LCS look at the goals markets, either next goal or two goals but only staking 1pt

If games come up on multiple filters, if the initial trade loses I will just move on to the next game and only get involved again if I have a green sceen from my initial trade.

That being said i'm not trading alot of football right now until fans are back

Im proceeding as normal with my trades and only tracking motivation. Will look back at the end of the season to see if it mattered or not. Funny thing is so far its highly motivated teams letting me down

this is also happening i am like they on my filter today need to win cant draw need to win ...and 0-0

I dont have quite enough data to make a call on it but its trending that way. Top 2 teams producing a lot of 0-0 this season

If there's no goal in this Barcelona match then Arsenal and Barcelona will have given me a 7.8 point kicking between them over the last couple of days. What's the matter with these teams?! ๐Ÿ˜ค

I'm keeping an eye on the Sheff Utd vs Palace game. Both teams having chances and are 2 of the worst for conceding late goals (often losing goals in injury time in our case).

Then again neither are high scoring teams. Price doesn't seem worth it right now but if it keeps up heading towards injury time might be interesting?

GOAL! If Palace score every time I post on here you can expect to hear a lot more from me ๐Ÿ‘

SHG barca vs atletico been waiting ages to get matched ๐Ÿ˜‚ normally markets at HT move up and down a tick both ways, so much pressure on the price for one more goal
