Netherlands are the one tick recycle for me today guys!

so what do you do risk 1 point back at say 1 point above back then 1 below lay ? so you make 0.01 point correct ?

Nailed it. Back at the lay price and then lay at the back, then wait to be matched. You want heavily odds on teams whose prices are static. Then it’s patience. Just get out if it goes the wrong way and be well out before team news.

@ryan It’s a decent trade but I stopped doing it because I didn’t appreciate the small marginal gains but it’s possible to gain a few points a month for a relatively low risk trade. There’s also the bonus of it not really taking up much time or getting in the way of other trades

I probably won't be around much today and unfortunately, I may not get to see much football. Going to my daughter's school, it's her last event before leaving Primary education. Then off to have dinner with my parents as it my Dad's birthday, then I've to take Chloe to rehearsals as she is performing on Saturday night! Enjoy your day / night everyone

    Results From 16-06

@alan-steward said in The BTC Football Trading Thread:

So as for todays Euro games I will be switching my approach from laying u1.5 goals to using my Split Stake risking 1pt across the 5 entry points (see post in my sig link)

I will also be looking for SHG if score lines are 1-0, 0-1 or 1-1 & possibly 2-1 or 1-2 for this I will use my SHG trade risking 1pt, again you will find this format in my sig link.

    Finland v Russia
    My Split Stake - Scratch
    SHG - 0.9pts Red

    Turkey v Wales
My Split Stake - 0.28pts Green

    Italy v Switzerland
My Split Stake - 0.114pts Green

    Best of luck if following!

    Total running Euro 20/21 P&L -1pt

No games on my Goal Filter today ☹

Apart from the Minsk game in the mighty Belarus??? 😂 😂 😂

    Edited
Actually I've just checked on both Forebet & WinDrawWin and it seems they both favour goals in the match... However I'll just focus on the Euro's today

Yesterday I got lucky in the Wales game as I forgot to cancel the 2 unmatched bets in my Split Stake (Betfair will cancel any unmatched if you green up but NOT if you only remove red).

I ended up with another 1pt green but if the 2nd goal hadn't come I'd have been minus 0.4pts and not scratch.

Have added this note as a "Word of Warning" in my Preferred Trades Post

However that said although it puts me in the green with the Euros as it was a mistake I will only record 0.28pts green... It actually ended up 1.28pts green

I will still be looking to Split Stake all 3 games in the Euro's today.

Ukraine v North Macedonia - My Split Stake
Denmark v Belgium - Split Stake
    Holland v Austria

I'd be very surprised if the Ukranian match didn't have a goal pre 80 mins

    Re Ukraine match

Both teams have goals in them, remember Ukraine scored 2 against Holland... In qualification they took 4pts from Portugal when qualifying winning 2-1 at home and drawing 0-0 in Portugal... I'd be surprised if they didn't win comfortably today... Famous last words maybe, but they get my trade.

On another note, re my Split Stake trade I generally remove red if only 3 parts matched however as of today I will decide in-play if to take green, remove red or green up... Basically as the o1.5 odds are quite favourable if 3 parts matched I will green up but probably remove red if only 1 or 2 parts matched... As per normal will always green up if 4 or 5 parts matched.

    Best of luck if following

I must of miscalculated. I think I took earlier odds in the day for Italy (what was around 1.56 if I'm not mistaken drift out before the game) and didn't increase match odds stake as I put half in. Shitttt

@simji How would it give you more? You'd get a half win so equivalent of 1.52.

Good win for Italy. Something I saw and I don't normally do look for it. Years ago was on the only thing I did was the Asian handicaps. Even know you can't really trade them.

Italy match odds to start was around 1.67-1.7

    But Asian handicap for -0.5 & -1.0 was 2.04

I got on it as that was value to me. As just them winning one nil would give you more profit than the match odds.

    Thoughts?

He did something pretty damn special. Just that it was ruled out.

    There is that
