@james-rome but look at the value of our squad, if you sold every player you would get around a billion pounds! we should be playing exciting football worthy of Premier League stars, not the dross I was subjected to last night.
Agree!
Going to sound harsh, but Southgate is a loser. What has he ever won as a player or a manager?

Exactly this, we have some top players who are thriving at top teams and we look very average. I’d love to see us go at teams, especially lesser teams

Would help if Southgate picked a decent team how Sancho and Grealish aren’t starting defies belief and there is no need for 2 holding midfield players in a 442

@john-folan he's got something against Grealish, and loves Sterling. I think Sterling massively flatters to deceive, does nice things but his final ball/finishing is abysmal.
@james-rome fair play you are much more glass half full than me, I think we are ok just don't feel we have a good chance of winning it which at the start I did think we were real contenders.
I’m having a speculative back of the draw in our next game. Wouldn’t surprise me if both teams played for one. They both qualify then

Will post todays Euro games later although only the first 2 games interest me
Hungary v France... o2.5 goals are currently 2.0, I've just put 0.25pts on @ 2.0 and will definitely trade the o2.5 goal market here (red flag, don't see France conceding but do see min 2 goals)
25% stake pre KO
25% stake 10mins
25% stake 15mins
25% stake 20minsExit points
Let 1 goal run until cash out equals scratch
Green up on 2 goals
If game is hot drip lay u0.5 goals from 1.8 -

@john-folan we need to as unless he is tanking on purpose we won't get past France, Portugal or Germany.
That's what I mean. If he went with one defensive midfielder (I'd pick Phillips as he looks a great box to box player). Provided Kane with some actual support, he is not off the pace, he is isolated and they are not playing to his strengths. Foden seems up for it and has the energy so I'd have him playing off Kane. Grealish for Sterling who is bloody clueless. Wouldn't change much else, but then I'd let them off the leash and go at teams.

i agree but i dont think was that bad 2 games in 2 clean sheets. I am trying to look on the brightside so i can convince myself we have a chance haha i do think the problem is midfield and forwards. Grealish has to play and why isnt sancho playing his numbers where ridic. Last night i thought rice and phillips wherent brave on the ball just sidewards needed someone to carry the ball or at least try and pass it forward

@martin kinda disagree another day against Croatia score more chances win at a bigger score line. I was disappointed last night but after sleeping on it not worst result gets us through and another clean sheet. Most of the time teams that win international tournements don't play expansive football it's very pragmatic and defensive which I think we are.
I agree with you here mate... Rightly or wrongly Southgate seems to be going down the difficult to beat route

Wouldn't surprise me if Southgate wants us to finish second in the group so we get an easier run. Personally I'd rather smash through everybody and put the fear of god into anyone in our path, but what do I know? Better to watch as well.

@martin I didn't see Scotlands first game against Czech Rep but my brother said he had a good game there also...
Am more confident going back into the prem with Hanley & Gibson as 1st choice CB's with Zimmo & new signing as back up.
Think Omobamidele might be a bit raw for the Prem but wouldn't be disappointed to see him given the opportunity to offer support, think he might benefit more with a season on loan in the Championship though.

@richard-latimer massive chance for them all to get through now 4 points should be enough for a best placed 3rd team? Do i think we will beat croatia, well it would help if we could score
well done mate you played well!
Norwich legend Grant Hanley had the England team in his back pocket all night.
shame about your first game, I always want the home nations to do well unless they are playing us, even though they always hate us!
-
@lee-woodman this is why I said they were disappointing against Croatia, the media was making out it was some great win but as we saw yesterday Croatia are nothing special at the moment and we just look so uninventive. Our style of play is not much better than Spain's, so slow and boring to watch.
-
Can’t believe how poor England were last night! Every time I watch them they always seem to play the same way and no matter what players we have we are just a boring side to watch! Other countries must be rubbing their hands at the prospect of playing us. Credit to Scotland, they played well and deserved more out of the game than we did. If they were a little bit more clinical in either of their 2 games they could’ve got more out of both

Todays Goal Games
Sandefjord v Viking
I see this game as an away win 0-2 with possible BTTS & a 1-2Vasalunds v Landskrona
I see this game as an away win with possible 1-2View either game as probable SHG based on my assessed score line above or use my Split Stake if starting odds are min 1.25.
Sandefjord might just about be worthwhile but is very borderline (1.22 @ 08:30) and may be a better o2.5 trade (maybe one for the more experienced trader)
Vasalunds looks excellent value (1.34 @ 08:30) to trade the o1.5 goal market.
As always ensure game starts with positive attacking intent and wait to reassess at HT if early goal.
