I just tried to enter into a hypothetical club Vs country question. Surprised how quick club won out haha!
Who would sacrifice a definite league title for a Euros win?
-
I have Spain in my sweepstake, but I wouldn’t begrudge an Italy win as they’ve been the best team in the competition overall.
-
@thomas-larsen You're prob right which is why I hesitate to make those kind of posts haha
-
@richard-latimer you will not play the final
-
Who would we prefer to play in the final? I'm not sure.
-
@chris-osborne Or maybe not what a finish
-
As good as the match has been its got extra time and penalties written all over it
-
Great game, very suprised to see Spain really going for it first half,
-
@alastair-todd I agree not really bothered who wins. Italy head and shoulders above the other 23 teams in the tournament
-
@chris-osborne You may be right - I almost don't mind who wins (as long as there are more than 1.5 goals!). On balance I'd like to see Italy win although they will be a tough proposition for whoever meets them in the final....
-
@alastair-todd to an extent Spain can pass it all they want there's no end product, If Italy score first they'll just pick them off at will
-
Wonderful football at Wembley!

@ryan He came in with the same sort of time that Vieira has, but couldn't decide how he wanted to play. He tried to do 3-5-2 and then 3-4-3 then 4-4-2. You can see he wants to play attacking football like he did with the Netherlands in the Euros but we don't have the quality players to do that.
Indeed! It needed a transition didn't it, look at what you have and how can you move the team towards that.

@alan-steward agree ratings are so underutilised, I'm looking into @Richard-Latimer's old Down But Not Out strategy as I think there can be a lot of value in laying weak teams who take a surprise lead at fairly short odds.
Ratings intrigue me as well but not delved as deeply as I would have liked as yet.
@martin, do you not think that Richard's strategy would benefit from when fans are back especially if its the away team that takes the lead?
Absolutely mate, I believe that's exactly when the wheels started to fall off as everything was pretty good pre COVID... Same as FHG... Just goes to show that we must always be reactive to our trading whilst maintaining discipline & structure
-
Nothing on my filters today so will enjoy the semi final... Will lay the u1.5 goals for 0.25pts green

@martin Yes, these are all things that can be assessed when you have data available to you... Ryan must have given it the kiss of death yesterday as I believe there was 3 SHG reds plus the dreaded 0-0... Don't quote me on it but I think last nights 0-0 is only the 2nd this summer.
I will PM both you and Ryan via my private coaching link what I'm working on but first will update a few results today to show how useful it could be.
