Oh man, those games!!! I have stayed away from that league. I think I saw it after lockdown got in as it was the only league but then remember it was bloody brutal. Stayed away.

@mark-maguire there’s only one more round of fixtures left in Belarus, I will start avoiding leagues when there’s less than 5% of matches remaining.
That was the only league going in first lockdown and some of things tha we’re happening from memory had to be seen to be believed

thats hilarious. Yeah the last straw for me was a nil nil with odds on the favourite of 1.06 vs 29, god knows how many goals in every previous games, 80% probability of over 2.5, 95% prob of 1st half goal, predicted score of 5-0 ... -

Nice one Darri. I was feeling very smug at 0-1 at 95 minutes as my track record with the French Ligue 1 had convinced me to leave this one out today, even though it was on my Over 1.5 Goal filter. Didn't lose though as I hadn't entered the trade but good news for you with the win!

@mark-maguire like i said dont worry about others findings trust your own data, everyone has different tweaks on data and filters. The best thing to do is to pretend you know nothing about teams/leagues, let the data tell you what to do. Opinions can bleed into prices and thats when we take advantage. I know you are bringing football industry knowledge to trading but try to not let it influence too much in your plans. Trust in the data.

@darri yes thanks its data specific to my overs filters and the Belarus games are dramatically worse than other leagues as it stands so I will bin them. I wont get bogged down, just interested in perceptions of other leagues, I'm sure Ive seen some stuff on here before with people saying they don't trust certain leagues, and in general I'm sceptical about some of the leagues in that part of the world because I know for a fact that there is "swim with the fishes" type money involved in a load of clubs.

@mark-maguire it will be different countries/leagues purely dependant on your data. For example stuart says he avoids aus, but im sure aus will be a huge contributor to others profits. Its all about your own unique finding within your own data/filters. I wouldnt get bogged down with ditching belarus tho, any league outside the top 5-6 can be ditched quite easily in my opinion if it shows any signs of affecting my p/l

Australia....I know lots of people love the A League and do well. I can see how it is great for SHG, late goals and FHG. But, I had a bout of hitting games with no SHG etc and it drove me nuts. So, to avoid anguish, I binned it.
If the results from Belarus affect your state of mind, bin it. Plenty of other leagues.
Belarus has just about finished in any case. Some teams with nothing to play for meaning some odd results. Throw in political turmoil and high COVID rates and you have a tonne of variables you can't account for.
