@martin-futter Ah good shout. I'm guessing that once the market has closed and you have clicked on to another market there is no way to go back to view the graphs?

@james-everard In fact how are you going to paper trade this, just with the odds live when the race is live and make a note of how many would have matched?

@martin-futter I was thinking that too, I noticed that there was about £60k there when it first went off and I saw one of the previous comments.

The joys of being a newbie 🙂

@terry-cooke I think it has something to do with liquidity, I think there were a few that would have got matched shorter but if you see the gaps in the prices in-running they are quite big!

@james-everard Paper trading sounds sensible to me. Typical that the one race I thought I would take a look at only 1 matched.

Ok mate keeping an eye with small stakes and monitor . I am going to start paper trading these and make notes of the courses , handicaps , length of course, number of runners , weather conditions etc. I reckon a few months of analysis will give us a better indication which races to trade this strategy to make profitable in the long run

@james-everard I've definitely had most joy in US races. More often than not I get at least 2 matches. Just seem to go round in circles in AUS.

@martin-futter Hi Martin do you have any other courses you would recommend not to touch in Australia ?

Hence only doing £2 lays as it will takes 4 doubles winners to break even, although if you can get 3 horses that will be what we need to make this profitable long term

Yes got two matched only small wins as testing just doing £2 lays if two come in with the lay odds I only get £0.35 profit not had 3 or more come in yet which would be more profitable. The 19.22 I thought looks promising as well 10 runners , 1 mile again, the fav odds is 4.6 so no clear favourite and 6 horses with odds under 10.0

That must of been close to 4 matching at 1.8? The graph had refreshed pretty quick after the race ended.

@terry-cooke said in The BTC Horse Racing Thread:

@james-everard Does this have to be done on trading software to keep as I don't see the option when I'm looking in BF.

Ideally mate , not sure if you can place a bet before the race and for it to go inplay without software.

18.52 at Tampla bay again . 12 runners , 1 mile , no out and out favourite and 4 odds under 10 and 1 10.5. Is this a good possibility ?
