Bollocks, my first B2L loss in 2 days. The lay bet came in though. Overall still 1.2pts up. Reset and on to the next races.

@richard-latimer
Think it started at about 3.25 roughly -

Don't think 18:12 qualified... Have I missed any others?
Looked on at the races. Fave was 7/4 so highly unlikely

So far I’ve traded the first 3 races at Tampa. I’ve done a bit of a double up. I’ve played a B2L and a straight lay based on pace and speed stats.
So far I’ve won them all. So far tonight I’m 1.8pts up.
Had the same success last night. I do plan to start posting my picks but it’s still early days and my confidence isn’t quite there yet!

@richard-latimer Not sure if it did. It certainly wouldn't have paid. Might have secured 2 matches at the most.
-
I missed the 18:12. Anyone see if it qualified for LTF?

@charles-cartwright Be interested on your feedback please when/if it helps with identifying laying horses
-
@charles-cartwright He does waffle a lot , a bit like Caen Berry not going into the nitty gritty of what you are wanting to hear. I found the part about the commission charges that different states apply useful though

Anyone seen the video by Peter Webb on the Australian horse racing market. A few points of interest on the commission charges that can vary from state to state and also what to look for .
Helpful for a total noob probably but nothing very profound in there.
You are basically forced to stick to the large metropolitan racecourses anyway simply because there isn't any liquidity on the others. Applying a decent filter simply gets rid of the dross anyway.
What I think is promising is that the racing is much more standardized than in the UK and it basically runs pretty much year round on the same courses (all of which are themselves relatively standardized at least within each state). Hopefully that enables me to identify laying strategies more quickly than is possible in the UK because of the highly variable nature of the courses and the mobility of both the horses and trainers.
Looking forward to it myself having been there and gone to a couple of race meetings.

@charles-cartwright Hey Charles, that's awesome... I'm sticking to the U.S. market for now as I was getting confused with what events were flat racing in Aus... However now I have begun to understand horse racing more I might start covering Aussie races more so that I can build up more stats and look to evaluate the best odds to go in at.
I just thought it was amusing. At 10p a race not trying to win anything but just gather stats on all possible combinations at all courses.
I think you will find Australian racing to be a much better option in the long run once we have the data. Far more races than in the US at a much better standard and because they have the BF Exchange in Aus you are going to get decent liquidity at the better courses and all of the Aussie racing is on the exchange not just a few courses. No idea why there is no exchange betting on a lot of US racing but there simply isn't.
You can easily exclude harness racing by simply setting your filter to avoid any race that has Pace or Trot in the name. I don't know which bot you are using but you should be able to customize the race filter to get rid of those. That is what I do with BFBM.

Here is one from my LTF experiment overnight in Australia.
Six horses out of 11 went below even money
Here is the race video (its race 2). See if you can pick the winner in this lot until about the last 50 yards.
