@dan-erridge We're now talking football on the horse racing thread lol however for the record I've measured Ryans Split Stake over 5 months and it's profitable!
-
@alan-steward
Lol, no I just think itโs good as it takes the emotion out of it, I.e you set your exits and entry and it does it, no temptation to stay in pass 70mins for example on Ryanโs split stake, -
Yes, but please don't ask for my secret sauce lol
I do run Split Stakes on the bot when they are running in numbers just load the filtered selections straight into Guardian
-
@alan-steward
Do you run any other bots on anything mate? -
@dan-erridge Actual SP, Market Volume & Lowest traded price... However some of the information is pre off rather than post race. Whilst market volume req is pre off that's fine but would also like to record final market volume to see if amount of matched in play affects results
-
@alan-steward
That would be great mate, what data does yours collect from each race mate?
-
@alan-steward
Cheers mate.Ive just set it up another way i think, what ive done is ive armed my trigger 10secs before event start time and kept it until 20mins after event start time, then set a fixed odds condition in row 1 (fav) and a fixed odds condition in row 4 (so we have similar criteria to our ltf bot, then in theory the bot should not arm if fav sp is under my set price
-
Am happy to share my basic bot file for LTF but am just waiting to sort the stored values correctly to record the correct information... Am nearly there
-
@richard-latimer Yeah sure mate... We need to collect a lot more data yet and from there you can begin to analyse weaknesses

Wonder if it might be an historic fixed odds condition?Here you go mate... Set your odds to be greater than what you want
When you select the drop down box for "Nominated" you will see a box to select which position you wish to apply it to... The field will be blank but if you type in "1" and apply it will read "in position 1 (sorted in order of favourtisim.
Any probs ask your question on the forum... They are specialists

@richard-latimer Yep, it's all about the long haul mate hence the small stakes
Worth noting the last 2 losers were All Weather. Most from your impressive first week were either Mdn, Claim or Mdn Claim.

@dan-erridge Yes mate but I will need to refer to one of mine lol... Hang on

@alan-steward
Cheers mate, yes ive heard others say that aswell, ive already tweeked it a little, added volume over 49999 and min runners 9, I want to add a Fav sp rule aswell but not sure how, as its an in play bot. any ideas Alan? -

Just when it was going well only 1 matched in the 8:15
Yeah. This is real up and down stuff isn't it.

Anyone heard about the bot on bet angel called lay the first horse to trade at evens? wonder what strike rate would be on this, from memory i would think ok, anyone got any thoughts on this?
Go easy on some of those bots Dan, they outline the plan but don't give you the edge... Nobody will give you their secret sauce... They will need tweaking to find your edge

Hi Mate, no you just need the first to trade at 2 to not win, its a straight lay bet
from the
Of course but the winner naturally trades under 2.0 so it is in fact still needing to trade under 2.0 if you see what I mean. Yeah it's a straight lay at evens bet I get that but from the figures Charles had that would mean you'll get around 50% of races where that happens then you need to hope that 2.0 price doesn't win. -
