@Martin-Futter Do you ever notice any difference in handicaps or shorter race distances? Removing non handicaps or anything under 1m improves mine massively but it cuts down selections by a lot and that's a big jump.

First qualifier of the day is a won last time out 2* horse making that 3 /3 now. I don't consider this a knee jerk reaction anymore than common sense. The logic that many of these will be shorter prices and more likely to win having just won.
The logic is what makes it a no go for me anymore. I made a few snap decisions at the beginning of my football laying system and to be fair that has paid dividends.
