Hi all. I've been having some fun with a lay the field strategy during the flat racing season. Does anyone know of a data set showing historical in running prices to compare which courses this strategy is most effective at?
I have been looking at time forms Hi/Lo stats to manually check on this seasons previous meetings but would like to see the data over previous seasons too
Hi Will
You can get it here (it's not free though - I think it's £39 or so for a year): https://www.racing-bet-data.com/default.asp
It's got data for all UK races with BSP and IP min and max prices. -

@martin-futter fair enough. In your good hands we’ll leave it then
-
@martin-futter ahh right as this is for flat racing only and we’re coming into NH season I guess?
-
@martin-futter that’s a shame.. was just getting into them. Look forward to seeing them back

Hi guys.
Couple of days without the NAP lays on the daily sheet. Is it just that there were none, or they are suspended due to poor performance as before etc?
Thx
-
Just the one today. 3.5-9 odds range as usual

Great day for the trobs @John-Folan
Yep broken 90 points for the first time at the 278 trades mark. Pleased with that.

It basically helps you decide whether your strategy works or is down to an element of chance. The Staking Machine applies it automatically and works it out for you. But here you go. Explained better than I can with an example.

Should have done alright today judging from my Betfair balance. These are all I’ve done today. Couple of winners as well for those of you backing the win. Up about 40 points since the middle of June when selections started again which is about double what i was expecting. I like a strategy to make about 10 points a month as an average which this does. Slowly Slowly Catchy Monkey and all that. These have an Archie Score of 9!! Everyone should be applying Archie to their strategies. That way you will know if what you have found is a fluke or a solid strategy. A certain Mr Latimer will enjoy Archie stats . @Richard-Latimer
excuse my ignorance but what's an archie score?
Was thinking the same

@Martin-Futter hey Martin. No NAP lays today mate? None on the email.
