Mister Storm a heavy favourite. Depending on the price it goes off I'm going to lay it for less than the others. Had it not been for the lay of 3.0 price tonight this thing would be in credit for Tampa.
-
£12.00 matched on the fave @ 2.04 so missed that one.
-
C'rea Una Volta got very close but the favourite took over so 2 wins to start followed by 2 losses.
-
1 matched in the 17:53 @ 2.04
3 matched in the 18:25 @ 2.04Both races show the Fav was below Lay odds of 4.0 However with my bot set for greater than 3.95 and Lay All 1 sec into play I guess both Fav's had a bad start... Seems strange that 1 second can kick in an SP of 3.53 (18:25)
Still it's kinda working, on checking stats I've had the following;
22 races Laying @ 1.98 5.55pts green
24 races Laying @ 2.04 3.41pts greenNot really enough races to allow for variance need 100 minimum but I guess it's painting a picture
-
Race 4 the first loser
-
Race 3 a winner

Ok so..........another day another non dollar (few pence):
In the first race at Tampa, assuming I plan to do what I did yesterday in Charlestown (to little effect), which I do, it will be a lay of the following horses @ 2.04
17:25
Tartan The Bull
Sammys MineshaftOne race down

@martin-futter Two weeks then , things are starting to click into place , probably best sport is slowly coming back rather than all at once for a trading perspective will help with mentalilty
Will help us not to end up back at square one as well I would think.

Around 2.5 points down at the end of that experiment. Still think it could work with a couple of tweaks.
Firstly there was nowhere near enough liquidity last night given it was a two bit course that no one cares about (suspending midway through a race when short price fave already matched super unhelpful).
Secondly I got matched on a 5f. Too short I think.
Thirdly, matched on a couple of faves pre race so when price short as 2.5ish prob good idea to lower lay price for that horse.
May try again on Tampa tonight.

Ok well I'm thinking that may have been a scratch but for some reason betfair suspended the market inplay. FFS!!

Next one unlikely to match but I'm laying Windsor Calling at 2.04 regardless in the 00:28
No chance in matching but saved a small red by leaving the ones with late pace.

So going on my idea to lay frontrunners who've dropped in price I'll be trying the following in Charlestown at midnight.
Lay:
Break Dancin
Marylee@2.04
Considered Sing Frosty but leaving this one on account of the late pace meaning it's more likely to mount a sustained challenge until the bitter end.
Well that worked on the first race.
