@john-folan interesting strategy! how many ticks do you usually go for with that? and what's the stoploss?

@John-Folan With the Trobs have you ever investigated using automation to match the lay bet in running? I did see an automation file on BetAngel to attempt to achieve this at some point though I can't find it currently. They often seem to drop in running but not always achieve the lay price. I'm wondering if thats another avenue worth investigating?
Also thanks for the strategy and constant posting. I have been silently following along for months now with small stakes/paper trading. It is really good to see the variance we would expect from this sort of strategy. Looking forward to the horse racing software as well to build this out.
I’m using bfbotmanager now. I much prefer it. There’s so much more to it than Bet Angel. I got fed up with BA and switched quite a while ago. I just load them up in the morning and let it get on with them.
Glad you like the posts. I’ve got some other stuff on the go but make the bulk of my money from scalping. If I could automate that I’d be laughing.
I think we are all waiting on the software. It’s taking longer than a US Election
I can't remember if I have asked you this before (if I have, I do apologize), but have you bought the BF Scalper course and if so, what are your thoughts on it? I bought it a few years ago but outside of watching the videos and trying it for a very short period, I never really connected with it and it's one of MANY strategies/systems I have paid for but never use.
I know someone who raves about it. But I couldn’t get on with it. I use the coin flip method. Scalping is so easy once you accept it’s a fifty fifty chance of you getting the direction right. As long as you get out for losses on three ticks and take at least five ticks on the profit ones you will make money.
If you want a golden method tho. Pick a race with an odds on favourite. Get up the trading ladders for the top four runners. If money comes in for any of the second third or fourth then lay the favourite. Then get out when you are happy with the profit.

Tomorrows. Just make sure the going doesn't turn heavy anywhere overnight. 3.5-9 odds range
-
None today. Poor for a friday really. Trobs still over the 100 mark (just). Looks like more prospects tomorrow and hopefully the ground keeps drying out.

@john-folan I’m happy with 50% haha trobs are impressive

@martin-futter are these odds not going to be too high for you to get your other side matched in running? Its going to need to have a stormer of a race to have anyone wanting to trade it in play for you to get your stake out, plus john said the other day avoid races with big favs, there is an even/odds on fav in this one, just asking cause id like to get involved with horses come the software update. @John-Folan is the 3.5-9.0 odds range for your back to lays for this reason?
Exactly that mate. They at least stand a chance. I’ve collected enough figures now as I keep all the selections above 70% dob value regardless of the other filters and it drops off massively over 9.0 and disappears completely over 20.00

Fancy these as potential decent back to lays today, no strategy yet, just going to monitor for a while. Not got an odds range as monitoring but guessing below 3.0 BSP won't be very easy to DOB and anything odds on is totally void.
Just one today:
Agent Gibbs 12.55 Newbury

@john-folan interesting to see your odds range, would you think that was a good one for back to lay in general?
I do. You know they are kind of in with a shout. Generally they will be in the top 4 faves. Also worth looking at avoiding races with an evens or closer favourite? All the focus seems to be on them inrunning and a horse needs to go some to get a drop when running against one.
