Yeah we use the LTP so that it's based on actual prices traded rather than what people in the market "want" to get matched.
I am getting the odd horse skipped on a bet in live that on backtest and i think i know why. I am sure someone here will know if my theory is correct.

Just posting Classic Trobs here from now on. I think everyone has the software now. Flat Pace is running just under it's lowest strike rate for a month anyway and is probably best left alone (although I am still staking them).

Thanks. I know it will. Losing runs play havoc with me though. Always have. Better at ignoring that little voice these days tho 
I find trobbing better value most of the time. Only slow horses seems to do better dobbing.

The difference in offer @ 4 to take available 1.01 to 4 is over 3000 points which i certainly wasnt expecting though i do understand there is a small technical difference between the methods. If that is correct then i will probably bin that strategy since the backtester reporting a profit using 'Take Available' simply cant be trusted if the strategy involves inplay.

I just had a look and re-saved the strategy we were discussing in your config, because although the fix was applied to the software itself, the strategy was still saved from a version where the issue was present.
Give the page a refresh and have another look now...

Is there a way to check if i am using the latest version ofthe software? A fix was deployed over the weekend but its still looking very broke to me. I have cleared the cache (pretty sure it worked since it asked me to log back into the software and other sites i had open).
@nick-allan BA Has plenty of videos to help. Plus, files to download. The best way is to use the files, and play around with them in 'play' mode.
