@Jonathan-Jones I've locked Adam in my spare room, with a supply of bread and water until the football software is finished, so it will be a while!

Are we going to get jocky and trainer data soon (and by that i do mean soon) because i am finding its a very good predictor that would prevent an absolute crap load of losing bets.

Does anybody know how the class ratings are generated for Irish racing? Irish races don't have a class system like the UK, so I was wondering how the software produces the class rating.

First full month on full automation, this is just one strategy as well.

Looking for a decent backing strategy. Keep going back to pace ratings. They should work. But they just donโ€™t. Really not sure as to why. Decent for laying strategies. But not the same in reverse. Really not sure why. Driving me up the wall a bit!

@Greg-Mitchell said in The BTC Horse Racing Thread:

@Martin Absolutely it peaks their interest, but then when I explain all the research and testing that has gone behind the bots, their interest wanes a bit (lots of people are just lazy nowadays).

Anyhow, seeing as you mentioned a video about how your first month went, thought I'd post my results since the 10th August, which is when I went on holiday. Before I went, I set BFBM up with all the bots and haven't touched them since (although I did have the odd sneaky peek to see how I was doing).

A mixture of strategies here, some my own, some BTC, some others too. Some are in testing stage with small stakes, some running fully. But levelling them all out to 1 point stakes, this is what the automation achieved.

    That's amazing well done!

@Lee-Colvin I have levelled it all out in the table to 1 point stake just to demonstrate. I actually have different staking plans for each strategy all based on a % of my total bank.

@Greg-Mitchell 92 points in 10 days is amazing Greg, well done mate.

Are you laying to one point liability or one point stake?

@Tony-Hastie that does tend to happen with lay strategies at odds against set and forget, I'll get a video done after tomorrow of my first month of automation.

As an aside I've noticed when I talk to my friends or family outside the trading world and tell them that as I talk to them a bot is making money for me, it suddenly perks their interest! Anyone else found that?

@Martin Irish DOBs scratch for me. Lay 3rd fav a slight loss....Its starting to annoy me actually. Just as it looks like Im getting ahead a couple of losses wipes the profit. Been doing that for a month or so now...
