@john-folan lol

Never matched. No trading for me today. Power is up and down faster than Prince Andrew’s pants. Not worth the risk.
-
Nothing matched yesterday. Here is todays potential. Too low for me to get involved currently
-
Todays. Currently trading inside the Goldilocks zone
-
Annoyingly the two longer odds both would have at least dobbed. Nothing today
-
Three today. Only one looking like it will hit 3.5-9. Which probably means the two that dont have a storming run

I wonder if your levels go down if you post a losing trade ;).
Anyway. One today, currently in the 3.5-9 odds range. Competitive race tho. Should be interesting.
Horse pulled up. Can’t do much about that. Horse injured but should be ok.

Annoyingly yesterdays would have traded lovely but drifted like a barge before the off. I am going to take a serious look at stripping out a couple of filters when the software is ready. Trading all Irish and groups 3 and 4 handicaps will probably mean we can get rid of the upper odds filters and the OR requirement, maybe some of the racetypes as well.
Nothing today.
-
Yesterday was useless. Today's is currently operating just outside the 3.5-9 odds filters

An actual selection. Will only get involved if between 3.5-9 just before the off. Well I won't my bot will. #lazy
#lazy should have been the name of the horse

Still nothing. This jumps season has been atrocious for selection numbers.
-
Still no trobs. Been really poor racing this week

Many thanks.
Chelmsford was probably to blame for the lack of traction last night. It’s a shithole. The Southwell one did well. Keep at it
-
Many thanks.

@andrew-camp they all look alright pace wise. Their recent inrunning form isn’t great (last 10 races) and I would want that to have a higher percentage of dobs and trobs.
That said they will probably all smash home now as faster paced horses seem to do alright on the aw

Been playing around with looking for horses who have decent pace stats and who might produce decent chances of dobbing in-running. I'm new to this so don't follow blindly but here are four I have shortlisted for today and was wondering what people more knowledgeable than me thought:
Southwell 2.00pm: Brazen Arrow
Chelmsford 5.30pm: Dors Toyboy
Chelmsford 6.00pm: Marnie James
Chelmsford 7.00pm: Debit CardGimme an hour and I’ll come back. I’m Dobby the House Elf at the moment

While we are waiting for Adam and Co to finish working their magic on the horse software I thought I would give you an idea of what it can come up with.
This is a very simple lay system. It compares the favourite rank of the horse at breakfast time in non handicap races where it is the current favourite. It then looks at the mid morning price ranks and checksif it has drifted enough to no longer be the favourite(I:E another horse is more fancied). If it has and is no longer ranked favourite a lay will be placed 10 seconds before the off(no matter what happens to it's price after that).
These are the results. I haven't done anymore filtering yet but I will do once a few tweaks have been implemented to the strategy builder. Took me 10 minutes this did.
