@john-folan Just got in now, reminded me of when you've been expecting a death in the family for a while but it still comes as a shock when it happens

@john-folan ah man has it already happened? I was waiting patiently for an email that didnāt arrive!

Who got in then?

@chris-osborne, I'm assuming there was an email regarding the horse racing software? I didn't receive anything
I've not either

@keith You might also want to keep your eye on the forum and your emails in the next hour or so
Looks like I've missed it
What makes you say that

A couple of things I have noticed while I have been in the beta.
-
The AW is s**t. Laying strategies probably the way to go.
-
Dobbing is a waste of time. The Trob is where itās at. Except on the AW because thatās s**t

@keith I think you can pretty much test anything
-
I'll be very interested in the horse racing software too but am by no means an expert!
I'm wondering if there will be anything to look at certain trainers and jockeys at certain tracks? Things like that which will normally take a long time to back test. -

@chris-osborne It was just that I thought, if I did have access to the horse racing software what would I do. I know Martin said there will be a guide and suggested strategies, but if I were to approach it cold where would I start.
Exactly where I am as well

Come on then, what strategies are people going to start back testing with the horse racing software?
I'm willing to be the first one to look stupid as I have no clue, but will obviously have to back any horse with red and blue colours, or has either "crystal" "palace" or "eagle" in their name.
From my little bit of scalping, I wonder how successful it is to lay odds on horses that have only run 1 or 2 races. Or have not raced in over 60+ days?
Will the software be able to spot horses that get off to a good start but fade later on?Iāll join you in the looking stupid and having no clue camp

@john-folan jockey probably thought he had done his job, āsurely thatās enough to Trob for John letās pull backā
Probably did. Something was wonky about it as he was running really well. 3.7 into 1.24 I needed 1.23
