@john-folan I didn't realise you could have min/max on those, that is a really good option then!
Yeah I know about the odds moves etc but I think a lot of people will want something they can place in the morning etc without bot
Sadly you can’t have a maximum back price or a minimum lay price or I would do a lot more bsp stuff.
If you are looking for something everyone can do this is the way to go though. We do need @Adam to add it as an option though in the pricing bit. I’ll add it to Asana for him. I know he loves it when I do that.
I haved a mix of bot and slections i place first thing in the morning based on startegy, for example i use martin pace lays and that has a selection criteria of odds between 3-9 so the bot looks for price 11 sec before race and if it between 3-9 it fires, but for pure back stratgeies like maiden backs i just back them in the morning, prices could move buy ultimately a maiden fav isnt going to move a great deal. The most important thing is test the startegy using small stakes, it you get 3 good months up the stakes but slowly and record all results. I work so cant stare at a screen all day to get better prices, not would i want to

@martin I haven't yet because it could be an issue with my laptop/ internet so let me make sure that's not the case first. If it's not I will.
Clear that cache mate. All that pornhub is sending your browser wonky

Is anyone else having issues with the horse racing software this morning?
Not me, have you sent a support ticket?

@john-folan thanks mate, that's really helpful, what I want to look at is I can develop some strategies that wouldn't require sitting at PC or using a bot, as I know there will be a lot of people who will not use one.
The only problem I see there is pricing as they change a lot all day long. A lot more so than football. That's why I bot. I've used the software to zero in on when the best place to jump on board is.
The only way round it I can see is to look for BSP strategies. You can have a maximum lay price and a minimum back price on those. Probably need to ask Adam to add BSP as a price option in the software.

Classic Trobs: Trob any between 3.5-9 as close to the off as you can. Avoid Heavy Ground.

@Nick-Allan @John-Folan what I mean is let's say you just wanted to place some horse bets for the day at once, what time would be the best to do that do you think?
You would probably need to do it in two stints. After 12 for the afternoon(maybe 11 in the winter as it starts earlier) then about 4 for the evenings races. I've got all mine botted to place them when needed before a race. Literally just line them up in the morning and let the bot do its work at the appropriate time

@martin i scalp horse races and last 5 mins is when markets really move but not sure that best for prices but for liquidy you can go from 150K to 450K in a min
Do you find that prices near the off tend to revert to where they were about 10 minutes out? Seems to happen a lot I think.
erm difficult to say i do tend to scalp small movements with normally 1 or 2 runners but on the whole those with shorters prices do john yes, dont know about longer priced runners dont tend to scalp anything over 7.5. I persoanlly prefer to get early morning prices on horses 15 and over
I normally only scalp shorter odds favourites so it might just be a trend there. I’ve tried scalping longer priced horses but I invariably f**k it up. Get a great income off of the favourites so I just stay there.

@john-folan and anyone else who sees this, what time would you say in general the horse markets firm up liquidity wise on UK racing in the morning? I'm thinking around 11/12am but wondering what the Horse guys think!
Depends on the meeting and how much you want to get matched really. Probably an hour before the race for my purposes.
