@jonathan-jones apologies, sun and beer.. but guess the staking plan can be set anyway you like.. I’ve tried it all ways and it’s profitable..

Hi Peeps.
So, I’ve been working on this strategy for a bit, seems to be doing well.
Still tinkering with it whilst lying on the beach in Corfu, but thought I’d share it.
The basic concept is to lay the last time winners in handicaps. Have added a few other criteria in terms of number of selections, select courses etc.
Results screen at £10 flat liability.
Feel free to critique at your leisure.
Its an interesting approach but its not £10 liabilty, Its £10 stake so max liability on your odds range could be a grand. Biggest loss at 330 so thats not bad for £10 stakes on a lay. You are dodging bullets though (but they do say 'who dares wins'). If you did change your stake type to liability that would still be over 1500 quid with a 4% drawdown with whats essentially a £10 bet. I like the sound of that a lot more.

This is it as it stands now.

Nice to look at my live short odds lays in graph form. I prefer low liability stuff risking no more than 1.5 points. Been running these live since the 26th of April. They have just broken the 40 point barrier for the first time. No doubt they will go back below it now I have posted this but nice to see not too much variation from the mean line.
Love the look of this mate

@nick-allan I hope you had the short odds fave bot on today . 5/5 and best thing is a horse that was in range all day drifted out past the 2.40 upper limit in the last couple of minutes and won its race. Brilliant

@john-folan :face_with_tears_of_joy: yeah all good now, thanks!

@martin 0_1659863819690_Lay The Female Horse.json
I did start fiddling with it yesterday, but these are the initial filters. Excludes female horse only races.

Just a bit of Flat Pace again. Waiting for the reversion to the mean on these. Will be spectacular.

Will do when I’m next at my machine

Who was the genius who came up with laying the female horses when in mixed gender races? Base filter of below shows it is profitable. Needs some work as there will be some bank busting lays going in. But just shows a little outside the box thinking is what is required.

@john-folan no slow dobs today john? none in my selections on the software and wanted to check as we have been having issues ?
Nope. None at all. Everything else has selections. It does have days like this and Saturday's is a regular no bet day so all good.

Just a bit of flat pace backs. These have struggled the last month but nothing out of the ordinary. These either make a small loss/profit or are bloody spectacular. I'm ok with that.

@laura-holloway Sorry went on the beer. All ok now?
