@angus-macleod Proform is great for straight betting, but the Inplay is a bit of a bolt on. I like his racecards but ours will be better. Plus Simon who owns it has a habit of losing his s##t at his customers in the WhatsApp group. Most entertaining. Customer service isn’t great and he thinks everyone else is less clever than him. Shame really as it is a good product but there you go
-
@john-folan The fact you're thinking of stopping everything else bar the in play trobs and LTB speaks volumes mate, clearly this is a gamechanger.
Haven't even looked at Proform's site in much detail in all honesty, I have one other sub that I'll be looking to get rid of when this software fully released, keep things nice and streamlined.
-
@angus-macleod thanks mate. It’s in my vested interest to put a bit of work into this. I’m on the verge of abandoning everything except my trobs and the lay to backs I do in the afternoons so I can spend more time messing around with it.
It’s a bit of a learning curve when starting to use it all but Adam will sort that with some tutorials. He already did some for us and whilst he will say they aren’t very good they really were excellent.
It will blow Proforms trading offering out of the water.

Appreciate the update @John-Folan and the work that the BTC team and beta testers are doing here as already mentioned, Johns enthusiasm alone is infectious! Looking forward to getting to grips with this new bit of kit and seeing what's possible

The testing on the horse software is going well .
I’ve really got to grips with the strategy builder. The fact you can score a set of results and then look at different filters is just so useful. There is only four months data in there at the moment as @Adam wants to make it easier for testing, but strategies are coming to light already which can then be properly back tested once all the historical data is loaded in.
This is a truly remarkable bit of kit. Once it is up and running you will not need anything else to trade the horses successfully. Adam is currently adding any ideas that me, @Martin or any of the other beta testers suggest along with bug fixes etc. It already looks different to what I was first faced with and I know there is a lot more to come based on the suggestions waiting to be added.
Utterly worth the wait. I will be throwing out anything I had from elsewhere as I will be able to do them from this probably, making them better if my Trobs experiment yesterday is anything to go by.
Fantastic work by Adam and his team.

Odds On Lays 17/11
13:40 Warwick Edwardstone. Up against two other smart hurdlers. Not need great form wise this year.
Go easy on these at the moment. In a slump. They always come back though.

@matt-ayles it was mad. Get a few funny days like this don’t you? Unlike Boxing Day
Boxing Day is insane. Usually somewhere between 10-15 race meetings plus a full program of football. It's the second busiest day behind Grand National.
And I am normally too pissed to trade it
I always work boxing day so I'll be out of action between 10-6 so trading won't be happening for me either
-
Flipping odds on lays are annoying the crap out of me at the moment. Bank Drawdown on 7 points here. I’ve had worse but there you go.

@Martin You may want to put your AW pace ones through it using
Race Type: Allweather
Pace Rating: Value: 10 and 12Then use the execution settings I posted a couple of posts ago for DOBS
I’m not going to ruin it for you but you REALLY want to do this
-
In other news. Restricting my trobs to class 3/4 means I can then lose the odds filters, plus a lot of the classification filters and they are still profitable, in fact a lot more so and they still maintain the strike rate. This is based on a limited data set as Adam isn’t adding all that in till things are sorted and later in the beta. However it shows the power of the software.
What a nice waste of a morning . I've attached the last four months p and l having done this. It makes more sense than the other pictures I have posted
-
@martin This is how you need to set the staking and exit settings to get a dob. Took me a while but I got it going. I've made notes for Adam that it needs simplifying and thrown a couple of ideas in.
This is a strategy I am backtesting based on pace stats and trobbing percentage. Makes far more sense now.
The Settings I am looking at. I altered the Execution settings to 200 points Exit Profit instead of 100 as I want to Trob them so slightly different to above.
The Output

Nice trade on the only one that hit yesterday. Nothing today sadly~

@Martin @John-Folan shops were dead yesterday. Only 2 UK meetings does not convert to busy days!

0.35 points lost yesterday
Odds on lays 16/11
13:15 Fakenham Salley Gardens. Up against a very good Beaten Favourite in Presenting Yeats. Giving away a chunk of weight as well. Jump in trip might prove a problem too.
12:30 Ayr Soft Risk. Interesting race this. Favourite won LTO on the NHF back in May. Second and third favourite a bit overpriced maybe as they have decent jumps form.
