    @adam excellent stuff! I’m excited to get stuck in with the price breakdown.

    The toggle upcoming was a good idea to speed up research

    @Everyone

    We've deployed some minor feature upgrades and bug fixes this morning:

    🏇 Fixed strategy expand / collapse button
    Previously, only the first 10 would be expanded / collapsed when the expand/collapse all button was pressed

    🏇 String handling fixes
    There were some problems handling special characters like "+" in strategy names and also the "runs" field in history-based rules. These now work correctly

    🏇 Fixed prize value sorting
    Sorting by prize value in the results grouping was all over the place. We have fixed this

    🏇 Strategy query performance
    We've done a bit of surgery on the database (fixed conflicting indexes etc) that should make lots of strategy queries run much faster

    🏇 Added a toggle to show or ignore qualifiers
    The upcoming qualifiers part of your strategy queries is quite intensive. Sometimes you might only want to backtest without seeing upcoming qualifiers. This toggle in the "Tailor Your Results" section of the Betting Rules allows you to run your queries without the qualifiers, which makes them run faster

    🏇 Added icons to the rule list in the strategy builder
    Oooo, pretty pictures!

    🏇 Added extra price groupings in results breakdown
    We've broken down any price-based groupings into narrower groups for extra detail

    If you want to check you have the latest changes, click the Changelog button in the software and make sure you see "10/01/2023" at the top.

    If you still see our maintenance message right now instead of the software, clear your browser cache and re-launch the software using the button in our user dashboard here

    Just failed to match in the 19:00 as well. Shame that as it lost its race. It went off at 2.43. Cest Le vie

    @fraser-cord No problem. The key is the rule group match type above the screenshot you’ve included. It states “none” so the results will not include any favs or second favs in the results

    @andy-donnelly Thanks.

    Yeh il look into it, clearly makes sense if its the fav, much higher chance it will win this time which we don't want. I'm currently trialing this strategy using a bot so will need to create a rule to exclude 1st or 2nd fav at time of bet placement.

    Can i just confirm that my understanding of the software is correct though. So by having the filter below set, the results are only for Fav and 2nd Fav, its not the results excluding Fav and 2nd fav? Making sure I'm using the filters correctly.

    @dan-mackinnon I started looking at this yesterday too, I was noticing that a lot of the members strategy back selections seemed to be placing if they didn’t win and thought there must be an angle to extract more money from these selections

    Has anyone looked at any place strategies? I see on the software that it has whether it placed in the results but don't think there's an option to use that within the strategy

    It’s being added at some point. In the meantime you can download the individual results and use the place bsp to work out if it’s profitable. I was literally doing this yesterday on my pace backs lol

    Perfect. Just done that myself.

    I just thought as the information is there, why not use it somehow.

    @fraser-cord Hi, I commented on this strategy on the other horse racing strategy thread.

    The current pre set lay the beaten fav strategy can be confusing. Basically it’s the opposite to what you said, you shouldn’t be backing any favs or second favs. The rule is back all horses not first or second fav that come up in the qualifiers.

    The problem with this rule is that favourite ranking changes all the time up to the start of the race and as such you will have different qualifiers that come up just before the race that may not have been there in the morning.

    A way around this is to create a duplicate strategy and remove this favourite rule. Then get your qualifiers from that. You can then filter out the horses that end up being first or second fav near the start time of the race.

    By doing the above my results have been pretty close to matching the software.
