Thanks all. Will need to investigate. Yesterdays horses were all Chelmsford city, looks like they all just qualified, maybe my bot is placing a little early, set at 10 sec before offical start, do you all do that or go 10 sec after official start for example as they never start exactly on time?
I don't mind the odd discrepancy but that's twice in 2 days, and both times not in my favour.
@Andy-Harris , can you add a rule to fairbot to only place if a set number of runners?
2/3 yesterday and 3/3 the day before.
Mine may be cycling a little faster than most. I restrict markets to a a little before the off so I’m normally cycling the same market at 300ms rather than going through a few in turn. 900mbps internet probably helps as well. I’ve run it on two machines side by side and had differences before. Fine margins and all that. If I was running it on bet Angel it would be slightly different again

@fraser-cord my bot report says it didn't get on the Chelmsford 20.30 because the dslr didn't qualify but the horse ran 3 times in January so I don't know what happened.

@lee-colvin @Paul-Foster @Robert-Cooke that's weird. I have to set mine at 7am before work so understand there might be the odd difference. Yesterday I was on 4, 3 wins and a loss (software only showing the 3 wins), today was 1 win, 1 loss.
Are you guys all on bot manager, I'm on fairbot?
Yeah mate, I’m on BFBM also. Southwell and Wincanton are both excluded tracks from John’s strat, both were on today but shouldn’t have had any qualifying races for that reason, have you got them excluded in Fairbot?
-
Yes mate I'm on bf bot manager. The bots set up to check the dslr and checks that the amount of runners is correct for the strategy
-
I’m on Fairbot and set at 7am before work. My bot hit 4 winners out of 5 yesterday and 2 winners out of 3 today. I have altered Jon’s strategy on the software to search for races of up to 18 runners but then narrow them down to Jon’s recommendation in my bot as sometimes non-runners during the day will mean some races become tradable but I’m at work so can’t monitor it.

@paul-foster 2 trades and 2 wins yesterday.
-
@fraser-cord Two yesterday, both winners and none fired today for me matey.
-
@robert-cooke neither did mine. Yesterday it hit the 3 as per the results.
-
@fraser-cord my bot didn't trade any today. Not sure why yet.

@john-folan Great start to the month today Johnny Boy
We deserved that!!. Horse racing drives me up the wall sometimes
@John-Folan and @Lee-Colvin , were you on 4 horses yesterday or just 3? Also were you on 2 today or 3?
Results from yesterday dont have the 18:30 Kempton, cant see why it wouldnt qualify (my bot was on and lost), and today looks like my bot just missed the 20:30 which would of been a winner?

Rather than post the SOL's daily, here is the file I use to get my qualifiers from. It is the same as the one on the megathread, but has the runner numbers and DSLR rules removed. @Martin, can you add this to the pinned post. It's not a replacement for the current one so leave that there(so you can check your fully filtered results.
Hope that makes sense.
love it!
been asked about Dobs what's your current main dob strategy mate?
Got a jumps one. Just trying to find something for the flat. Hopefully the two combined will give a decent return.

@Caroline The Pace Letter relates to how the horse ran in its previous races, so H = Held Up, P = Prominent, L = Led (I think.). It can only get allocated once the race is finished, so obviously if you are using it then it can only be historical. therefore for example if you wanted to bet on horses that typically are front runners then you would perhaps look for Pace Letter = L in 100% of last 4 runs..

OK Yet ANOTHER question
I was looking at ways to improve a strategy and was looking through the Results Breakdown
Being selective with the pace letter seemed to make a difference, however when I tried to add that to the system it was asking me to specify a % of x runs.
What is the pace letter in the results breakdown based on please
Many thanksI'll tag @Adam as he will be able to explain this
