Just got back from No Time To Die. I love James Bond, always have. This was great. So so different but great and so many questions for the future.

Bit different but at the new Andrew Lloyd Webber Cinderella production this afternoon. Really funny and some fantastic numbers. Worth a visit if you like the West End…..and I do.

Latest thing I'm just finishing is Modern Love on prime. Been in bed sick all day and it was the perfect thing to binge 30 minute episodes all day.
It's basically like loads of mini Woody Allen movies mainly set in the ideal New York of all the movies.
Given what's happened to me in the last year I'm not quite sure why I remain an incourageable romantic but I do. This is super easy watching and for the most part puts a smile on your face in these pretty dark times.
I’ve watched a couple of these. Not really me but still quite entertaining.

Y is the Last Man is on Stars Play on Disney Plus. An interesting take on if all the men died out. It’s based on a graphic novel. I love a bit of post apocalypse stuff so this is right up my street. Star Play in general has some great stuff on it. Prefer it to Netflix at the moment.

@ryan mean . Just finished Star Wars Visions. Bit hit and miss as some were brilliant and a couple were ‘meh’. The Ninth Jedi being my standout episode. I’m watching What If which I have quite enjoyed. I’ve got the entire original comic run accumulating value. (Along a with several thousand others). It was always a favourite

@john-folan yes cannot wait for this! Although my dads miffed as his Disney plus sub will expire soon and last year I bought him it and now told him he needs to buy his own lol

Watched 2 things on Netflix tonight. Very different.
First, a comedy special hosted by Rob Lowe taking the p**s out of all Hollywood clichés. Decent light entertainment with lots of clips of the classics.
2nd thing is Disclosure. If you're not aware it's a documentary on how badly trans people have been portrayed in the media/entertainments over the years.
A real eye opener to a burning issue. So many things in the past you've just dismissed as funny or disgusting were clearly horrendous if you were a trans person going through hell anyway.
Ace Ventura
The Crying GameNumerous other lower profile along with interviews, chat shows, bit parts as nothing but sex workers, discrimination for not looking trans enough.

Add this to the watchlist I think

@ryan They are a great set of books, like John said Mr Jordan got very ill and died mid series. If you give them a go, just stick with it around book 9ish as it gets a little long winded but this is about where Mr Jordan was getting very ill sadly.
I think Brandon did a good job of finishing them off. As a side not, the Mistborn series by Brandon is very good.
-
@john-folan I'll give these books a whirl!
-
Oh my god Amazon Prime are doing a Wheel of Time tv series. The trailer is up. This series of books are just epic.

Watched 5th series of Money Heist wtf they have put it into english. One of the reasons i liked it was it had subtitles, which might sound weird but it worked so well. Not sure now its in english. 5 was ok but will never beat 1 & 2
