My wife and I love a board game (Pandemic, Ticket to Ride and Horrified to name but a few). She bought me The Quacks of Quedlinburg. What a great little game. Watched the How to Play on YouTube and it’s great. We’ve got the expansion packs as well

Any other board gamers on here?
Yes! I like the campaign games they make now. Mind you I hardly ever get any to the table...
I own: Gloomhaven - Jaws of the Lion, Tainted Grail and Sleeping Gods
I've got ISS Vanguard on the way sometime next year too.

I prefer party games to out and out board games these days. If they have a board too then fine
I would recommend to anyone. So much fun and completely appropriate for kids as well! Whenever I've played it we've all been in stitches at some point during the game!

Never tried Horrified, any good?
Terraforming Mars is excellent. Everdell is a good quick little game. Hive is a great chess alternative. Roll for the Galaxy is pretty good if you can get hold of a copy at a reasonable price. Dominion is always a great card game.
Horrified is brilliant. So playable and the different monsters change it up every time.
Thanks for the additional recommendations

Love board games and party games. Just discovered a number of spinoff cards against games which I'm going to have to try
Generally seems to be a christmas thing though.
Try Muffin Time. Very exploding kittens.
Exploding kittens is a great little game. I had something called big bucket of doom as well but I lost it. That was good. Think it was utilising items in your possession to save you from situations resulting in certain death!

@richard-latimer I loved suits, great show.
On last 3 episodes ever.
It's not often a good TV series will end perfectly. This did. Wrapped up every single loose end in an emotional last episode.
I'm a sensitive soul

I think @Adam has recommended this book before. I read it earlier this year and would say it's one of my favourite books. It's on sale for 99p.
It's basically a look at how we have a fixed amount of time and how you deal with it. It's not as morbid as that description makes it sound!

Currently watching season 8 of Suits. So very watchable, great characters - Perfect netflix binge material!
So strange to go from goddamn everything to effing and jeffing now it's a netflix show rather than a network one!

I think it's high time we abolished the monarchy personally. Time to move on.
Will never happen brings too much money into the country from foreign tourism.
Taxes are high enough as it is will see them rise significantly if it happens
I used to think the same but how much do we pay them to make us all this money?

@richard-latimer I can't believe people care that much one way or another to be honest, lot's of media hype about something that in the grand scheme of our lives is meaningless.
To be fair I'm with you on this but because they do I think it's worth a watch. Says as much about our society as them.
I think that's the whole point of the documentary when you watch it.
I mean did you see Jeremy Clarkson's vile column? Everyone knows he's an arse but shouldn't be able to publish that s**t!!
Nope. I have banned myself from all news websites and all social media apart from an occasional scan of twitter for traders I follow. The world is full of morons and I don't need to see what they have to say or read about them. Just pees me off. Ignorance is bliss.

The most sensible thing anyone has said about the whole spectacle. I will say though this mess is the thing that got #princeofpegging trending on Twitter and for that I will always be grateful .
