Netflix/Amazon/Gaming and Book Recommendations

Over the weekend I watched Woodstock '99 documentary series on Netflix. I was aware of what happened as I've heard podcasts and interviews with people who were there. It's amazing how much the people that put it on still don't take responsibility. The final comments from the 2 people that put it on are mind-blowing how they can think that's an appropriate response.
I also watched the new Crystal Palace academy documentary on Channel 4. I remember some of my mates at school playing for academies and even at ages 16 and 17, there's still no guarantee you'll play professional football.

Under the Banner of Heaven on Disney + is absolutely brilliant. Andrew Garfield is excellent. I love stuff like this. Proper messed up.

At least they managed to hold them at bay for the 2nd half
Dug in their to keep it at 4-0
Brentford were a disgrace second half . Should have been at least 6-0

Watching a great comedy at the moment. It’s a weekly sometimes twice a week. It’s called “Manchester United FC” . Haven’t seen anything so funny since May lol

@richard-latimer I actually think he's a decent bloke who just says what he thinks and doesn't care about social graces.
I read that he says his character is who he would be if he lacked social awareness or sensitivity.
Did you see the episode when he blocked the fire engine as he thought they were abusing the siren?

@richard-latimer Curb Your Enthusiasm is pretty pretty pretty good!
Larry David is such an arsehole though isn't he
Some of the things that happen to him are just nuts but then some of the things he does and says to bring on other troubles.......The last one I watched, he was introduced to an interracial couple that were expecting. So of course he had to start asking if they would prefer a lighter or a darker baby

A couple of new recommendations. First one isn't so much new as still on but just starting the 11th season now and it's genius.
Curb Your Enthusiasm. For anyone not aware it's a sitcom where Larry David, the creator of Seinfeld, plays an exaggerated version of himself.
Sometimes hilarious, sometimes truly cringe worthy, pretty much always original and truly different to anything else out there anywhere!
The next one is something called Zero Zero Zero which follows the brokers of a drug shipment from start to finish. Wasn't sure about it at first but it just gets better and better!!

@matt-wood can you get him to do a Metallica one?
Was a video that went viral a while ago. He's probably got his own channel. Maybe he'll take requests if you can find him
That figures, I am waaaaay behind on 'viral' stuff all the time
He does indeed have his own channel. I really hope that little lad sticks with it, imagine how good he will be in 10yrs time and still only be 17!

Watching the new series of Westworld. I haven’t got a clue what’s going on but it’s great lol

Watched The Gray Man on Netflix last night.
Another 'don't waste your evening' film I'm afraid. A shame as I am a big fan of Ryan Gosling.
Lots of nice scenes in the film, but thats all it is, a series of expensive flashy scenes.
It feels like the producers/screenplay writers were just a load of kids in a room shouting out ideas for a great scene. No real attempt to fit scenes into a story or plot.
Was looking forward to this one as well.
