I've been watching Taylor Swift Era's Tour.
It's amazing to look at that show and think:
- How does she remember all the lyrics
- All the steps to every dance move
- The line up of the songs
- How on earth does she get changed so fast
- How do they move all that kit around the world?
- Who owns it too? Like all the props and mics? Where do they go after?!
Say what you like about her music but her record of winning awards and money she smashes it!

@John-Folan I loved Black Sails.
Read Treasure Island when I was little and always had a soft spot for it as a story so was hoping they would do a good job with black sails and boy they did not disappoint at all!
-
@Martin I agree with you, I saw something recently about the best books of TikTok slated one book but the outline sounded good to me, I've read it and its way better than they made out.
Thats the way it's going online though, people are finding it easier to slate things to get views and clicks.
-
@John-Folan I don't read online thoughts about shows anymore unless I'm urged to, I've found that everything seems to get hate these days! It really is a cesspit out there.
Watched the Acolyte yesterday and enjoyed it, can't see why people would have that reaction but there are a lot of sad people out there.

Just Seen:
Unfrosted(Netflix) Absolutely hysterical. Quality cameos.

@Richard-Latimer the club had a good history though, good solid fanbase, price was a factor, a great story too.

@Richard-Latimer I mean she's not wrong partly, it's a non correlated stock market asset which means that when you have this and stock market goes up or down it won't be linked - so they'll get a good return.
I think they have 100% eye on this element and making some money, but the way they are doing it is right and seems to sit with who they are as people and their morals and values.

Never one to stand still, I'm watching 'Welcome To Wrexham' now.
Very engaging story along with the typical light hearted banter by Rob Mcelhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
Brilliant show!

I’m on the third series and up to date. Love it. Oh if you want something a bit wonky then try “Dark Matter” from Apple TV. Outstanding

Forgot a film I just watched on Now. Strays.
Girlfriends choice as with the reviews I may well have given it a miss.
Completely puerile but very funny. Not used to seeing films about cute furry animals with such shockingly bad language etc...
Definitely not for kids

Starting watching Baby Reindeer - weird as hell that, I am not actually sold on it to be fair.
A lot of people banged on about how good it is, can't see it.
I found it a fascinating piece of work unlike anything I had watched in a long time but can see why some would not like it
-
@Richard-Latimer That sounds mental!!!
-
@Ryan it's on my list. Just started watching season 6 of Inside No. 9.
Bit behind
Also watched film on netflix called Red Rocket yesterday.
Scumbag ex porn star goes back to his home town and estranged wife when things go wrong.
Then fucks everyone's s**t up because he's a scumbag.

Most recent watching includes:
Am I Being Unreasonable starring Daisy May Cooper from This Country. Brilliant mix of drama, comedy and a little something else.
Season 3 & 4 of The Young Offenders. Sitcom about 2 feckless Irish eejits. Season 3 was great while Season 4 sometimes unnecessarily dark and not quite the same. Had it's moments.
SAS Rogue Heroes which I'm just concluding now. Really good dramatisation of how The SAS came to be in WW2

@John-Folan I loved it. Saw it in 4DX. Didn't think they were going to play the theme so that was a nice surprise. Loved that show in my childhood.
They're blaming covid still and the fact you can stream stuff almost as soon as it hits the cinema.
