@richard-latimer Aha yes! I really didn't like it

Just watched 'Sorry We Missed You'. Jesus is that some depressing s**t. Great film, starts off quite light hearted but you kind of know it's going to be all downhill especially given it's Ken Loach and the whole grim up north vibe.
Recommend highly if that's your bag.

Anyone seen Bad Boys 4 Life yet? Took me a while to get over chunky Martin Lewis was looking now haha!
-
If anyone is thinking about 'Outside the Wire' on Netflix, I'd give it a miss.
I like Anthony Mackie in most things Ive seen him in, so was looking forward to this. He tries to give the film something, really tries, but its just a bad film sadly.
If there are any old school wrasslin fans out there, then check out the 30 for 30 on STAR channel (Disney+) with Ric Flair. Really interesting stuff about his life.

@richard-latimer Film is very good. Has a few plot holes but very good watch.
Seems like a perfect Friday night film to watch with beer and crisps haha!
Perfect

Think I'm going to give the original Snowpiercer a go tonight. Went under my radar on first release. Heard mixed things on the series but film meant to be much better.

Anybody watch Plebs? That's really funny. Sitcom set in Roman times. Has one of the brothers (not Will from from the inbetweeners) from Fri Night Dinner in it.
Big fan of that.
I'm on the last season

Just finished off "The Strain" before my Disney+ sub runs out. Very good older school vampire horror. David Bradley is superb in it, as is Richard Sammel.
That's the one turned into a book isn't it. Are they connected telepathically to one main geezer?
I think the tv show is based on the books, written by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan. Yes The main geezer controls all the vamps, or 'Strigs' as they are called in the show.
Some really decent performances by some of the cast.
I read the book (not sure if all of them....think maybe only the last haha) and that was good.
