Anyone watched Years and Years? Normal Manchester family drama which turns into a scary sci fi dystopian nightmare pretty quickly.

Also started watching Euphoria starring Zendaya. Pretty good so far.

First few series are on Netflix. The latest is on the itv hub. Really good.

No. I can recommend you try a bit of Peter Hamilton though. Superb. All of his stuff.

Good shout on Farscape @matt-wood. Something to watch now I have finished series two of Snowpiercer.

Can highly recommend Invincible on Amazon Prime. I have read the graphic novel and it is superb. The first 3 episodes are up. I’ve watched the first and it is as good as the graphic novel.

Finally got around to watching Ex Machina on Netflix yesterday. Meh... for me it felt over hyped. Was pretty predictable.

In a short answer...Yes.

Got cancelled after season 3, fan tantrum led to season 4 then cancelled. Fan tantrum for a finish to the story lead to a 'season 5' which was two episodes of around 90mins each.

Some of the special effects are probably a bit dated now but well worth a watch. My all time fav sci-fi series.

Think its still on Prime at the moment.

Give it chance, the first season starts slowly, by 3rd and 4th seasons its really top stuff.

Hitting the middle of season 4 of my rewatch of Battlestar Galactica. Honestly forgot how good it was. The only thing that I’ve found as good is The Expanse.

Need some books around this sort of military sci fi genre. Done “The Lost Fleet” series which was decent. Any other recommendations gratefully received.

Hadn't even realised season 8 had already aired. Will be interesting to see if they continue after that.
