Next film to recommend is a really messed up one on netflix called the platform. Food descends down through a prison tower on a platform. At the top is a banquet but it doesn't stay that way for long and month to month you find yourself on different levels.
The bottom levels starve and kill to survive. The top levels quickly forget they were only just on the bottom and gorge themselves, eating way more than they need to survive.
Spanish language with subs.

I watched it on Kodi. Don't know if it's on Amazon to rent.

If anyone fancies a sobering piece of history I can remcommend the film 'Mr Jones' about a welsh journalist in the 30's uncovering Stalins famine in the Ukraine.
Slow burner and I almost gave up but as soon he gets out of Moscow it's a tough watch and pretty harrowing.

@clare-taylor How come the one with James was so good for you?
-
@clare-taylor lol brilliant, I was like oh I have a good pod then saw your post and thought great minds!
Oh wicked, is there an episodes you think we should be doing?

Finished the final season of Gotham with the good lady last night. A really well done show. I was very worried about a 'child Batman' as I am a huge batman/Joker fan but it was very well done.
Yeah. Gutted it ended without really seeing his Batman as he grew. If they can de-age Deniro they could have aged him haha!
-
@clare-taylor Ahahahaha wait till you see my post in Dan's (Great minds!)
I need to listen to the Horner one! Do you listen to the BTC pod?
-
This doesn’t fall within the above but I can’t see a podcast thread so I’m popping it in here; High Performance Podcast, it’s hosted by Jake Humphrey and a psychologist. They interview high achieving “performers” this focuses heavily on big names in sport.
So far I have listened to Gareth Southgate, Toto Wolff and Christian Horner. All a great insight into elite sport performance but I was especially interested in the similarities and the differences in Wolff and Horner.
Even if Jake Humphrey isn’t your cup of tea he does manage to blend well in to the background and let the interviewee do most of the talking!
