Jupiter’s Legacy cancelled after one season. Netflix are wankers for this lately.
-
@john-folan top man. will have a look at that

@martin Is that the PS streaming thing? I haven't tried it yet, does it work well then?
It is and if you buy it through cdkeys.com you save a few quid. I think I got it for £37 last time for the year
Does the same for PS Plus -
@daniel-mills Yep I love it! Great game, I think they might with the Switch Pro as its rumoured to be coming out which would be amazing!
-
@john-folan yeah you are right there, the release of the PS5 has slowed price drops but once PS5 start getting exclusive games PS4 games should drop down. Everything is still coming out on PS4 for a good while yet it seems
-
@daniel-mills That the Samurai one? I wanted to play that but only have a switch!
-
@martin said in Netflix/Amazon/Gaming and Book Recommendations:
@daniel-mills waiting for that to drop in price, usually ps4 games are £10 within a few months but not happening with this one!
I think that’s because it’s got a free ps5 upgrade. So they don’t want people buying it for a tenner and getting the upgrade rather than paying £50 or whatever for the ps5 version

Finished Castlevania on the recommendations on here, very good.
Just started Ghost of Tsushima on PS4, looking forward to hacking people up Kurosawa-style for the next few weeks.
-
2 very different recommendations today.
Finished Watchmen, the series. Didn't know what to make of it at first as very different to the film. Loved it in the end.
Hope they make a 2nd season.
Also discovered I'd be missing out on some Partridge so started watching 'This Time'.
Brilliantly awkward as per! Halfway through series 1.

Got around to starting 'Better call Saul' a few days ago.
Will admit (as with LOTR) I didnt like Breaking Bad, 1st season was excellent and then went downhill, lost interest by the end of the 3rd.
So I was dubious about Better call Saul, but been really proven wrong, its brilliant, writing is really good, they are not rushing anything and giving hints at a deep plot.
It is great but I'm still lost at you not liking Breaking Bad haha
Haha you can add it to not understanding why I dont like LOTR, I'm feckin weird
You can also add "supports Man Utd" to the list as well

I can highly recommend the book series “The Dresden Files” by Jim Butcher. It’s currently on book 18 (he’s writing 22 and then capping it with an apocalyptic trilogy to finish).
He’s a Wizard who is a Private Detective. It develops into something else and the world building is fantastic. Great supporting characters and just really well written.
Vampires, demons, fairy’s wizards and witches set in modern day Chicago.
Don’t bother with the tv series though it was a disaster.
