Lets Give Footie Trading A Go

So far so good Martin today.
I only traded the Wolves game so far for real money nd went for a second half goal around 55mins as odds looked really good and Wolves we’re starting g to apply so e pressure. I did t take much notice to what Villa are doing as I had no faith in them scoring with the strike force they had out today. So around 0.5% profit so far from that match so can’t complain .
Quite a lot of the matches on the filters are not qualifying due to early goals etc but that’s not unusual for my filters and I can imagine for most people filters if they are reading in the second half or after 30 mins wtc
-
Again continuing to paper trade and collect results on filters.
Adapted a couple of filters last night so hoping this will improve strike rate on them. I think this time next week I will make a decision on some of the filters I am keeping and which ones I will drop especially my over 1.5 filters.
Trading wise I am hoping to trade a couple of the matches on my filters what look decent inplay. Sometimes I may change the type of trade I do from the original plan (pre match research plan) due to what I may see happening in the game and a quick double check on the filters to be back up my thoughts

@martin-futter I will take a look Martin.
I saw a new one on the members filters it’s a LTD one.
Is this coming with a video etc and been tested by you guys? It’s a new one I have just noticed over last couple of days.

@gary-brown from what period? 75% isn't that high just for second half
I am not sure Martin I was hoping to try and find a second half filter that has 3/4 winning trades as a strike rate from 55 mins onwards
-
Just putting it put there but has anyone got a decent second half goal filter that has a strike rate around 75% and above?
That they don't mind sharing maybe.
-
@gary-brown Indeed, that's the thing. We've got so much experience between the BTC team that we've made all the mistakes lol we've seen a lot as well.

Thursday
Well trading went well and made just over 2 points profit.Detailed Research
Nothing really stood out today as a really good trade to focus on. So I found it hard really to narrow down which games to try and do a more detailed research approach.I selected 3 games in the end and these were:
Valencia game
St Gallen V Zurich
Betis EspanyolValencia game was ruled out due to their poor away form and goals didn't come easy for both sides 9goals scored) when Valencia are playing away from home.
Again in the St Gallen game I was hoping to see a clear favourite here but it wasn't the case when you looked through pre match stats. FHG was probably only thing that stood out but it wasn't enough for me too trade this game so I left it.
Betis Game
This had a few choices with 2nd Half gaol and a low scoring Betis win my favourites. It also had decent stats for over 1/5 goals. I monitored the game and went for over 1.5 goals after 30 mins as odds were decent. I traded out after the goal as their wasn't enough for happening to keep the trade alive in the second half when the goal arrived.Other trades- from watching the games
Burnley game= Keith highlighted this game on the forum and I checked stats and watched the start of the second half before entering with a over trade around 50-55mins
Bodo game I watched first half and I felt goal was coming so this won.
Unders scalp trade for a few mins on the Chesea V Man City game -
Things gone well last few days.
Tracking results from filters and writing them down as gone well.
I got my own lay the under dog filter what I am testing now along side the selections from Rich.Detailed Research.
I have continued the detailed research for a couple of games yesterday following on from Ryan's videos. It does take a long time though lol but I have know designed my own detailed research word template that I am using to get as much useful info as I can think of to make a good hypothesis of what I think will happen in the match.Detailed Research
Wolves V Bournemouth.
Real Madrid V MajorrcaI selected these game as its one on the TV/bet365 I can watch to see if what I am seeing is what I think will happen in my hypothesis. They were both on at different times where I could trade them. No point doing detailed research on a game I can not watch or trade.
I selected the Wolves game over Man U game and Sheffield United because Sheff U had a few key players missing and their current form is no where near the form before lockdown. For this reason I didn't think research would help predict what would happen in this game.
Everton did came up on my filter as a second half goal and the Newcastle game was also playing at 6pm but I opted for the Wolves game as both sides needed points. I personally believe both Newcastle and Everton you could argue their seasons are over compared to some clubs.
Real Madrid game.
The only trading opportunity worth while in this game was a second half goal by Real when looking at the research. All other options the odds would be too low and not worth risk/reward. This did have a second half goal in the game but they were already 1 up during the first half and so the trading opportunity didn't arise. The Wolves game went to plan with a second half goal for Wolves in a tight low scoring game. So this went really well following on from detailed research from yesterdays games and how sussessful they went.
So moving forward I have confidence that detailed research does help but its selecting the games to research in more depth that can be a little tricky. The first option I guess is your filters 9potential trading opportunities) followed by can you watch the game, do you know the teams and the league, will you be available to trade the games at this time.

@gary-brown Yes buddy but 2/3 is pretty good
Did you see my latest video on the football thread?
@Martin-Futter is pretty good on the in play as well.
I am just about to watch it now. Its the latest one just posted ?
Just watched the analysis and I think this is amazing guys. I know it can be a lot of work doing the pre game research and then followed up with the analysis but I am sure this is something all traders would benefit from big time.
Before you posted the video on the Young Boys game I had done a little bit of research myself and came to a similar conclusion that it was Young Boys who were likely to score first and this is likely to be in the second half. I didn't trade the game. I think I was busy doing something else at the time so I cant take credit that I looked in detail at the half time stats before saying no to the trade. The video is brill though.
These would be a great resource for attracting new customers alongside all the other amazing stuff that you do. I guess it is important that you guys show everyone how its done. The main reason why people are trading and why they join is to become better traders but also to see that it is possible to make money from trading which is very important as most people struggle to make money consistently from trading without the luck of over staking/chasing loses etc eventually catching up with them
