This might be a very big long shot but has anyone on here used R and also developed Betting Models or Machine Learning.

TRhanks - not thought about scraping. I've done a little coding, enough to understand your youtube.

I need to find a site that displays soccer matches, and goal times for each match.

Then i can implement your script.

    Thanks again.

Wondering what your experience is like at taking JSON data & pulling ifo form it. Betfair historical data is good, but I am trying to pull goal times form matches without alot if success.

    Any pointers?

@danny mate, i think its the way forward! Happy to work together on it.

I am currently learning R as it should speed the process up and work quicker then we could do. I can help with the scraping side with python if you can help with the modeling lol

@ryan-carruthers Ok thanks thats great! I am going to work some things out and try to formulate it in a clear way and then I will start a new topic with my theory. Or do you prefer it for me to put it in the private coaching section, or here?

@jarratt-perkins Read that book and made my own model for football trading. For now it is in excel, but I am trying to find ways to automate things. At this moment I am learning myself how to work with Python. Main problem for me atm is how to scrape the information from the internet automatically and transfer it to my model.

So far things work good for dutching CS but not something I can publish yet, because I want more matches for testing

Also the overs are doing pretty well, albeit not for trading but more for gambling. Once I get reliable results I will share them in the right topics.

So long story short, maybe there are ways for us to help each other out?
