    Car launches are starting, it's McLaren's turn tomorrow. Not sure if they're going to reveal all or not but I reckon they could be worth a small back. I think their odds might drop a little...

    I got this in an email this morning;

    "Although this morning it was announced that the French Grand Prix, due to take place in late June, will not be going ahead, we are now increasingly confident with the progress of our plans to begin our season this summer. We’re targeting a start to racing in Europe through July, August and beginning of September, with the first race taking place in Austria on 3-5 July weekend. September, October and November, would see us race in Eurasia, Asia and the Americas, finishing the season in the Gulf in December with Bahrain before the traditional finale in Abu Dhabi, having completed between 15-18 races. We will publish our finalised calendar as soon as we possibly can."

    Looks like there will be a lot of back to back meetings. This has made my day already.

    @neil-mallett shame that I know F1 gets a lot of stick but I always find it fascinating just to watch people race at that speed and the tactics involved in when to pit, what tyre etc. guess it helps that Hamilton is British so I don't mind him winning!

    No F1 until June at the earliest. It's going to be a very short season.

    I've just been having a look at Zaandvoort on satellite maps. Looks like someone is still desperate to be involved in F1.

    Looks like the next two races are off too. Season to start in Zaandvoort perhaps? Not sure if the Dutch are interested in F1 though.

    @simon-miller love F1 have done well with trading Vettel in the past few years after he starts well. Not so sure this year, would like to see a race or two.

    Pink Mercedes is one to have a punt on i would have said for the Aussie GP if its on, normally if a car is good in testing doenst mean it will be at the races but i do see they be around the first few races before dropping back down with other teams catching up. Odds will shorten for race wins.

    @neil-mallett one to keep an eye on, if McLaren have pulled out I don't really see what choice FIA have, it must be stopped or at least no fans!

    McLaren have pulled out of the Aus GP. Will the race go ahead? Will the season even start? It's not looking good for sport as a whole right now. We might all be having a break soon, like it or not.

    @martin-futter I think he has it in mind to better his record, he say's he doesn't think about such things but that's what they all say.

    I've heard that all's not well at the red team. Testing will be interesting. The top teams are likely to be much closer this year than previous years though, so that's a tactic that ought to pay off unless one team shows a big difference in testing. Merc probably won't look great in testing but that's usually a red herring. The Orange team (or maybe I should call them the white orange team) will be likely be top 4 or even 3 this year. 🤔

    Not much liquidity is there, I might hedge Vettel and LeClerc in the outrights, at somepoint having the quicker car is going to pay off, one season!
