BTC - Group Start!

I have seen a fair few new members join and a lot of questions are bouncing around on what to do, where to start ect. I thought it would be a great idea if we all got onto a post and started to build our own BTC Start!
Now I know this is the Betfair TRADING Group , but sometimes I think it should be called the Betfair Make Money Group. This strat does not need to be a trade a such but just needs to make money to be successful.
So to kick this off the first place to start IMO would be what sport would we look at. I have stuck a poll in to end Monday to give time for people to look and get involved and see if there is enough intrest.
Other then the Poll I would suggest members with previous experience in this perhaps post there thoughts on what the first things they look for as a starting point. You never know - we might all learn something new
