    Hi all,

I’m new to the community. I’m looking at some of the pre-set strategies on theBTC filters. Done are straight forward, but I could do with an explanation on a few of them. One is the ‘Lay the lot’ strategy.

    Any pointers appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Kenny

    Ok cool thanks

From looking at it, it's just a very simple lay the away system which is probably way too simple in terms of getting decent long term profit. For some time now (May) I've come to the realisation that the only way to avoid crippling variance (when everything starts to go bad for a while as it always will) and be in control is to trade inplay.

If I'm laying a team now I wait for them to take the lead first and provided the home team looks like they should come back it's a nice cheap lay in comparison. S/r not as high but yield oh so much better this way. Laying big prices you can't stake a lot but if you lay a rubbish team that has inexplicably taken the lead agains a team that at least shouldn't lose then your liability will be way lower. Sometimes you are even laying odds on when the probabilities of away team winning or way worse than that.

I'm trying to remember what this was all about as I haven't used it in ages. Was one of the many ideas I had that ultimately led to nothing haha! Give me a little time haha!
