Quite a few races tomorrow. The flat has begun. A fair few will fail on odds filters though
-
2/2 dobbing and 1/1 trobbing. 4 points and on to tomorrow
-
First losing day in a while. Only two points mind
-
@Martin these work well over jumps. Just have to accept once in a while you are going to get a jockey thrown off.
-
@John-Folan how do you find jumps? Had a couple of trobs earlier and made a profit but the other horse fell (same race) annoying as feel it had a good shot at trobbing.
-
1/2 dobs and 1/1 trobs for 3 points profit. Last one wasn’t far off a dob either but no cigar. Was due a loser. I definitely prefer the trobs on these as quicker to make back losses but there’s value in both on different ranges so stupid not to really.

2/2 dobs and 1/1 trobs today. Four points. Thanking you kindly. Was due a bit of movement on these, they hadn’t done much over winter.
I’ll have to run the win part again and see how that’s done. Will add those in at some point as well.
ridiculous run on these well done!
Yeah don’t worry I’m a realist. I’ve been 11 points down on these so I’m ready for it!

Another nice 6 point day. Made up for a 2 point loss yesterday. Moving along nicely. These do better in the spring summer anyway so let’s hope for a good season
Great work! Need to get into these
Another three points from 1 dob and 1 trob. Nice

Nice point from the two selections that hid the odds range today in the same race. I always do multi selections in a race. Software says it’s more profitable
Just seen this. I've noticed the same, it often seems to be more profitable to just allow the multiple bets per race.
What I do tend to do though is to drill down further, group the results by number of runners etc and try to find the cut off.
For example, laying 2 runners in a 3 horse race is obviously going to be more risky than laying 2 in a 10 horse race.
Or laying multiple selections that have been racing very strongly recently (you could include a scope rule based on PRB to filter on this).

Cracking little day on the dobs and trobs. Worth the wait
Yeah 3/4 on mine, how have yours done?

@John-Folan Final question I promise! Well, for 3 weeks anyway....off on holiday tomorrow
When do you generally place your lay? If your horse is lining up at the back that would suggest quite close to the off... or the 10 minutes stated in the description...or somewhere in between? Is this where the dark art of scalping comes into play?
I start looking 10 minutes out then just go for it when I see a point I think it might drift from
