One much overlooked place to get a good guide for trading is the BTC strategy page on the main Dashboard. In particular look at the Swing Trading and Pre Race Scalping under Horse Racing. Really cannot recommend these enough.

Currently I am loathe to recommend too many alternative sites as I know the BTC Horse Trading Software is imminent. I'm currently a big fan of the Inrunning Trading Tool and that is where I get my Trobs from. However you have to pay for that and sadly the same is now said for Patternform which was a great resource or inrunning traders. So at the moment I would say save your money.
This site however still provides a wealth of free stats for inrunning percentages. He hasn't updated the main page for ages as I think he is concentrating on another site now, but the racing cards for each course are updated daily for you. This is a link to the at a glance cards page. Have a little look round at some of the other pages as there is some interesting stats there and explanations of different types of trading.

If I can draw your attention to the bottom left corner it has custom reports. You can check different systems here for backing and laying favourites.
Apart from that he has a wealth of stats that you may find useful and may well bring up some terms that you find useful. If you aren't sure of some of the meanings ask in the HRT(Horse Racing Thread) otherwise Google is your friend

Bet Angel Automation Bots for Various Strategies. All stakes set to £2.00
Save the file to your PC. Open Bet Angel then Guardian. Click on the Automation tab. Click on import file and there you are done.
The Dob Bot. Places back and lay bets. Minimum Odds 3.0 Keeps Lay inplay. Allows you to dob two selections per race.

Can just be blanket applied to ALL horse markets. Will not place a bet if there is a matched one in the market already. Will fire from 30 minutes out every 30 seconds until the race starts or a bet is matched. Takes BSP if a bet is placed by the bot and not matched.
