Drip laying the draw from 5 downwards; think the draw backers are being lulled into a false sense of security here.

@richard-futter this is my fav staragy but unfor there is not much test cricket per year

There's usually lots at this time of year in England, and plenty in SA, Aus , India later in the year. But these are obviously unusual times.

@richard-futter how many times would you say you lay the draw during a test . i normally like to lay then get my bank back at half like 100 lay @5 and 50 back @9 example and go again if suits , just a way of protecting bank etc .. any thoughts for and against this type of trading strat

I think that's a fine strategy; I hardly ever leave a trade without having an exit strategy - unless I've already bagged a massive green and can't lose. I often just scalp the draw, but always on the lay side first, and get out within a few minutes; if I'm doing a longer term trade I usually flag it up here. So overall, I'll probably lay the draw dozens of time during the average Test match, but only a handful of those would be longer terms trades when I'm convinced wickets are bound to fall.

Flip flopping favourites..... I would think they're beginning to regret the decision to leave out Stuart Broad.

Draw price beginning to crash in, even though there's still plenty there for the bowlers.

The weather looks set fair in Southampton today, and there could be some good moves today. Personally, I'd love to see West Indies survive for an extra hour or two, bring the draw price down to around 5 which would be a great lay point I reckon because there's always a collapse in their batting line-up. Going to be very interesting indeed.

@martin-futter best value I see at the moment is on the Eng innings total runs. They seem to be one wicket from a sub 200 disaster.

I’d be so annoyed if I laid ENG this morning, see them struggle and get such little return with the current price!

very stubborn market this one, they just expect WI collapse so much (which I understand to be fair).

I can only see Eng drifting out to 2 if they are bowled out for below 150. Tells you how much confidence the market has with WI batting.

Not sure we'll see England at evens unless Windies bat really well.

Still fancy England but it's a bowlers day that's for sure.

What are people’s thoughts on what the odds will look like if England are bowled out for under 200? I’m wondering if the Windies will come into maybe 3’s but will England only drift to around 2’s? Obviously the draw will balloon out.
If that was the case I’d be tempted to lay the Windies at around 3 as they will I believe struggle with the bat just as much.

Agree with Luke hard !! Another 20 odd runs accumulate to current partnership WI a lay and Draw . Potentially lay on wickets aswell for trades once if new batters get in
