Brilliant comment from Stokes re how he would have treated the Bairstow wicket - class man.
Totally agree, outstanding comments from Stokes (and I'm not English). In terms of 'spirit of the game' this is worse than a Mankad (and at least you need a warning 1st)
Cant dispute he is out by the rules, however do you want to win a fist fight by stabbing your opponent in the back with a knife after the bell when they have clearly stopped to return to their corner? Looks like the Aussies believe its win at all cost which is why they have been so successful over the years in all forms of sport, but that was too far today.
Cant even compare to the Starc catch as Duckett walked, and i reckon the umpires called it correctly. Just like American football, if you use the ground to gain an advantage, its not a catch, which he clearly did.Can only echo what others have been saying, cheers to all the pros for posting tips throughout the 5 days, that's another test match green. If only they were as frequent as football matches

Thanks to everyone posting on this thread, I've been following along with all the comments and made some green.
This is the first time I've had any interest in cricket, the first matches I've actually watched and what's more enjoyed!
I've even had to read up on the rules as I was clueless...so even if I hadn't increased my bank, I've gained knowledge.
Thanks guys btc is awesome. -
Gutted England lost, however I've made a lot trading on this test (and the last few this month). This thread is so good at picking out the opportunities. Thanks everyone.

@Matt-Ayles brave to lay with Stokes in
Was a simple choice when ENG went odds on with AUS drying up the leg side runs for Stokes - knew it would only cause Stokes to play more dangerous shots to score runs.
-
@Matt-Ayles Well done mate.
Yep, i did the same, and layed ENG when they went odds on - made a poor Green into a reasonable green for me. -
I feel guilty and sad as an England fan... but i couldn't not lay England at odds on... even with Stokes in.
However, it's going to mean my richest payday to date as a betfair trader...
Rough with the smooth i guess. Sorry England.
-
Yeah but at the expense of us loosing the series haha
-
Surprised england only jumped to 5 when Stokes went so layed that...luckily before the next wicket... I was all ready to play the kiwi born card if he won it too
