So a funny thing happened today, I stuck to strategies in T20 that have worked well in the past and didn’t go off script. 5 points green to cut into yesterday’s debacle so much happier.
Would be a lot happier if I didn’t get out of my India back this morning so early but you never know what day 2 could bring Red not concerning in any way at the moment.

Just a thought, but there's now every chance England will be bowling as the light fades and that can be the best time for the seamers. A very low risk lay of India around 1.1 might not be the worst trade in the world.

I love Jofra, but you have to say it would be amazing if he were still there in an hour's time.

This is not looking good, especially as England have the longest tail they've had for as long as I can remember.

@richard-futter couldn't agree more re Bairstow. I would like to see Stokes stand up today against Ashwin and stop being bullied around.

@richard-futter great shout re early wickets mate.

Sibley a walking wicket at the moment and no surprise about Bairstow; he's had a break and he's no Number Three at top level in my opinion. Shame about Root though. A real danger this could get very one sided.

The third Test at Ahmedabad starts soon, and it should be fascinating with the pink ball in India's only second day-night game at home. It's bound to turn more as the match wears on, but the pink ball always gives the seamers help, especially under lights.

Whoever wins the toss is certain to bat, hoping to bat long into the second day and then have a bowl at the opposition as darkness falls tomorrow.

Their price is bound to fall, but I think there's a good chance of early wickets too, especially if the groundsman leaves more grass on the pitch than usual.

The draw is pretty big at around 8, which is not at all surprising. Most pink ball matches around the world have been concluded before the conclusion of day four. The weather won't be a factor, so any chance to lay the draw at anything under 5 looks a very safe bet indeed.
