Totally ridiculous! Umpires call the cricket equivalent to VAR.
I can understand the on field umpire thinking there may may have been an edge but surely you give that out and if theres an edge Pant can challenge, but that was plumb and infuriating. -

You could live with it a bit more if he was a young leggie but not an off spinner. Root instils more confidence with his bowling.
