@richard-futter started to get mad watching IND woman in the field looking as if they have an idea but actually zero , and yeah ENG so much batting talent should been averaging 4-4.5 an over no sweat

@nathan-bennett Much better chance of play at Bristol but it's a huge shame this is only a four-day match. It still seems to me that Australia is the only country that really takes the women's game seriously. Come on everyone, this is 2021 not 1921.

Looks like there will be a few showers about in Gros Islet, but nothing like we're seeing in Southampton today. I agree the West Indies will surely show some improvement - couldn't get much worse that's for sure - but their batting is no match for the South African attack. The odds of 1.75 for the tourists look pretty sound to me. There have been several draws over the years at the Darren Sammy Stadium, but I'll certainly be looking to lay the draw if it shortens much during the course of the game.

Think I might have been a tad over optimistic with regard to the Southampton weather. Who ever thought it was a good idea to hold the World Test final in England?

@dj-reid I’ll be keeping an eye on it mate for sure. I expect the WI to bounce back and show a bit more backbone then they did in the first test.( doubt they’ll win but a marked improvement) I won’t be jumping into anything to early tho but a draw lay if weather is good which it should be.

Good morning from Southampton where it’s ridiculously wet and I have soggy socks. I won’t be expecting much if any at all in regards to play today.
    Anti climax.

Anyone have any thoughts, possible trades on the WI v SA test or do you tend to concentrate on one at a time?

Plus what reliable site do you guys use for weather forecasts?.They seem so variable and contradict each other!

What's people's thoughts on the women's game lay the draw. Take the loss or keep in play for now and hope for wickets?

@dj-reid more as a cricket nerd mate. I reckon if it’s bleak the draw price will come in anyway but just as a fan also I reckon it’s going to be awesome if it’s not ruined by rain.

@nathan-bennett I don’t think I’m going to sleep well tonight in anticipation of tomorrow it’s going to be bloody tops. Ps England girls to rip thru India today but Raj and Harmanpreet will have a big say on that. 🍻

Is that because you think the draw price for NZ v India will come in massively?

@richard-futter I guess it depends what weather site you check out. 🤔Met Office site Friday looking worse than Sunday but it’s the south so who knows.
All I know is I’ve packed my kindle and seriously hope we get a result. I have to agree with you I think we will get a result and I can’t wait for tomorrow I just hope the weather stays away and we get the showpiece we all want.

@nathan-bennett Draw at Southampton way too short in my opinion. Sunday looks the worst at the moment but that can change quickly in the south of England, and many is the time I've seen the Ageas Bowl avoid the worst of the weather. Yes, there will be interruptions I'm sure but with six days available, I feel there's an excellent chance of the match being completed. I wouldn't be laying it yet though; I prefer to wait until the day of the match. This is a real showpiece and I don't think either side will settle for sharing the trophy for six months each.

Well ahead market on men’s final draw at mo
    Rather cricket and mass swings
How’s the whole week looking @James-Woodroffe seen a few read ups sounding like plenty interruption and day 3 maybe bad poor weather may extend past reserve day aswell
    Hope wrong
    Then there’s darkness factor ?

Laid the draw in the women’s test yesterday at 1.39 using my bonuses and then pretty much removed all liability not long after.
As for Southampton tomorrow definitely looks the worst of the days which could be cool for a draw back followed by a lay as we still have the rain day if we lose all of tomorrow. I’m just wondering how many people out there are aware of that factor and could those who are not help really drive the draw price down. 🤔
