Do we think there will be any play at all tomorrow? Forecast looks terrible but with the draw at 7.6 is huge if there's not going to be any play...
-
@nathan-bennett I did too had a fun day for my first day watching the match and the odds to get a feel for it
-
Backed draw small
Light
Maybe some rain
Tmr uncertainty6-4
Free roll 2 points will doFeet up for abit

1.8 to 5.1 in less than hour. Marvellous.

BOOM

I'm loving the lay of the draw here; anything under 2 great value I reckon.

Not sure if he’s still around on this forum , chatting on here one time with Luke Ridger
Remember him saying if you can master the art of the draw you’ll be laughing/rich#alwayslearning
Been many market swings on the draw
-
Root amazing
Come on a result -
Rain does seem to be breaking up. Reckon we'll get quite a bit more play than expected, making the lay of the draw around 1.3 pretty good value
-
Rain will hit Nottingham around 3pm by my reckoning. Unless it breaks up, that will probably be it for the day.
-
Got down to 1.38 just before the first wicket but I decided not to put more on the Lay. Doh.
-
Wicket! Moved more than I thought it would .
-
Looks like a big bank of rain heading in from the west, but it is very slow moving so it may not arrive at Trent Bridge until mid or, if we're lucky, late afternoon. The draw looks low to me at around 1.5, although the market does love the draw in this match and it will take quite a few wickets to move it significantly I reckon.

Thinking aloud:
BBC and Met office both showing a dry morning, although light could still be an issue. I assume that there will be a full morning session and maybe some on and off this afternoon. so maybe 40-50 overs today. Have to fancy an early wicket or two this morning if the ball swings from the start. Laying the Draw or England will benefit from that. If a partnership builds and/or it starts raining then laying India is the way forward. I think I will wait for an update on Cricinfo regarding the weather and see what the ball is doing early doors. It wasn't swinging much last night, but with more cloud cover this morning it might start hooping.
Plan to LTD early for wickets if swinging, otherwise wait for a partnership to develop and lay India after the first hour.Any comments welcome!
My out-loud thoughts are similar. I feel like there could be a good amount of cricket today if the weather isn't too bad, maybe even 2 sessions worth.
I therefore feel that 1.6 is too short on the draw and the lay is where the value is.
I do however have the same weather sources as you. -

Edit to add: Sibley averages 42 in the 3rd Innings and 46 in the 4th so wouldn't be a surprise to see him grind out an exceedingly slow 50.

Weather speculation
6 sessions to go
Let’s say we get minimum 4 in thats 140 odd overs
ENG trail by 70 at current RR they could level scores in just under a session
3 sessions remain
How do ENG pour enough runs on to bowl IND out
Hard to see ENG winning
Lay some @9.6
If IND had a sniff to run down say 4.5 an over reckon would attempt to win -
@clare-taylor Hi Clare, welcome! Fairly new myself and feeling my way in.

Draw 1.7 overs or unders long term ?

Just thought I’d pop by and introduce myself, I joined yesterday so am getting a feeling for the site. Cricket is my favourite sport (thanks to my dad!) and I work my schedule around test matches!
It was actually looking at cricket odds and how they change that made me first think about trading and start doing some research. Which brought me here.
I am reading everything with interest and following the odds closely for this match.
