Where i think people get test cricket wrong , when making a trade you have to consider long term, Eng could be 90/1 at lunch but long term the deck isn't getting better, factors to consider , will you get another chance to back Eng over 1.86 .... Yes so also think about long term positions.

@gary-finnigan i’d personally be very wary of backing England. The top 3 (well 1, 2 and 4 now Root has been put up to 3) haven’t performed well at all in recent years. The joke being England should just start all their innings at 30 odd for 3 and save everyone the hassle. I put a lay in on England last night and will be hoping for wickets, and if Roy and Burns look set then I’ll red out and wait for another opportunity.

What’s the plan for Everyone today , sky sports saying good batting pitch so thinking about backing England looking to green up before lunch?

He probably is fit but unlike with Jimmy, looks like England are being sensible and making him prove his fitness properly before throwing him into the stress and strains of test match cricket!
He bowled 4 overs no probs for Sussex last week, is playing v Kent tomorrow night and then a 3 day game for the 2nds during the week. We’re gonna need him now!

@luke-ridger had a great day trading this thanks guys!

Pathetic captaincy Root. Every fielder on the boundary at 268-9. Ludicrous. Have they thrown in the towel already?
-
I need to stop laying Eng but i can't find any reason whilst they are odds on.
-
Reckon Burns and Roy are praying that the final wicket doesn't fall in the next three or four overs
-
@luke-ridger Totally agree
-
Odds should evens now imo
-
Eng are in trouble here
-
Eng a big lay, Draw a back too.
-
This match is a long way from over yet. If Australia push much above 200 and bowl effectively, the absence of Anderson could prove critical, leaving England with an awkward chase in the fourth innings.
-
Thanks - going to watch odds for a while and see how it goes

@jarratt-perkins it can massively fluctuate during a game. A strong partnership will bring the price in, wickets will see it shoot out. Weather also has a massive impact. If the covers come on the price will usually come in too.

@martin-futter Just during match - like in boxing the draw is around 30's until right at the end when looks like a draw on cards. wondered if it was the same with cricket

how dangerous overcast conditions
