@luke-weston if this the case market should drop easy 10-15c maybe 20 once the world sees the covers on

im on this scenario and would be happy to green up 1.50-1.45 range and suss from there

if draw did drop to above price range also the possibility it stays stale for a long time
any hints of play naturally will spike up hard

    many swings to come think

Forecast is for showers all night and then more of the same all morning until 4pm. Might not get much play tomorrow.

@matt-ayles I think the weather is coming from the South East, so Manchester will be getting it soon!

We have play in Manchester for The Hundred, so the rain delay at Notts might not last too long.

Those wickets were a little bonus before the rain started! Popped out for lunch and came back to a growing green. Happy to see it keep raining in this test, just not next week when I'm at Lords!

Jofra Archer out for the rest of the year. I don't think the Ashes are coming home any time soon!

Judging from the radar, looks like the rain will be hitting Nottingham from about 3pm onwards, but is ,unlikely to wipe out play for the rest of the day. Could pay dividends to lay India initially, then back them as things start to clear up.

Cloud rolling in - a good time to lay India at 2.6 I think.

Worth keeping an eye on the radar today. Looks like the rain may be arriving mid afternoon rather than midday, which could make a draw lay around 2.1 very attractive indeed. With the lacquer coming off the ball now, I would expect England's bowlers to get plenty of movement in helpful conditions.

If it looks like the rain might arrive earlier, then a lay of India would be the play, keeping the draw on our side.

Should be an interesting day with plenty of swings.
