Had to have a draw lay at 1.16 playing with profit.
Also a back of India at 6.0 before Burns wicket.
-
Not sure what the point of that 12 minutes was. YJB opening? Could make laying the draw interesting

All this just tells me how great NZ are haha be riding that for two years

Gave the game away this morning. Should have bowled properly. It's been good for me though. Laid Eng around 3.7 and steadily taking green now. Wondering if it's worth a lay of the draw when we bat.
-
It's in situations like these where we really miss Archer. Think he would have blitzed them out pretty quickly - as long as Root didn't decide to put everyone on the boundary for players with averages of 8 and 3. Dismal captaincy.
-
@richard-futter I think it meanders to a draw now. England at 10.0 I’ve wrapt up for this one.
Or England get rolled but shades of NZ test again yes.

If India get to lunch then we get to enjoy Dom "The Wall" Sibley this afternoon.
Greenidge and Haynes would have knocked them off with ten overs to spare .

I can’t see England going for more than 3.5/over and it is already 3.46. Wish I’d backed the Draw earlier- oh well, still learning

How's everyone thinking about this match now? Will England go for it, or will they shut up shop as they did in the first Test against New Zealand?
-
Happy with this morning as that England lay now hits 5.0. I’ll look to wrap this up shortly as I doubt England will go for this now as has been the case before.
-
On the radio they're talking about a declaration, but no chance of that IMO.
-
Quality RR by these two
-
England tactics and bowling have been very poor since Bumrah came in

England might open up with Bairstow and keep Sibley for the rear-guard.
That would make sense... so obviously that won't happen!

I'd lay the draw if I didn't think Sibley might dead bat it for 60 overs!
-
Small lay now of England @1.70 tail could frustrate into the 2’s again and England will be desperate to wrap this up.
