    Honesty post

Well done guys on the trading , I traded both games I layed Pakistan and the draw on Eng vs Ind. I managed to end up Finishing evens!!! Luckily

I went to Chessington park with the family Sunday got home and WI need 15 runs with 1 wicket left .....= WI win £50+ or Lose £30 liability Loss or just take the -£12.50 hit in the red And get out 🤔, I got out and took the -£12 hit which as I’ve slowly learned we’re traders not gamblers and it was easier to stomach than losing £30...
Off course WI closed it out and tail Enders did a great job to win but as we know Sod’s law it could have gone the other way.

I put the £18 into eng game and luckily traded it up to nearly get my £12 back (11.58). Phew

Great cricket but learned hopefully for the 100th and last time don’t trade when you can’t see the action.....

@Kevin-Gedny and @luke-Weston awesome to hear guys that it went well for you both. They were ripping tests to trade and with the rescheduled IPL. and T20 world cups also just around the corner it’s going to be a big 2nd half of the year for cricket trading. 🍻🍻

@kevin-gedny Well done! Me too. I had the opportunity to take some green in the WI test but didn't. Still 0.3 points profit but should have been more (1+) if I hadn't left a trade too long. 3 points on Eng v Ind after 2pts on the Trent Bridge test. Starting to pick up on some of the nuance, and definitely need to green out more. Carried that lesson onto the 100 tonight and it worked out well. Looking forward to next week's Test Matches. I'm in the Western Terrace at Headingley for the first time next Thursday, so not much trading, but looking forward to the Cricket.

First time trading two test matches at the same time, albeit helped by the time zones. I ended up 0.95 points on Eng/Ind and 5.75 points on WI/Pak.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and definitely have some learning points about when to enter a trade, particularly laying the draw. I did realise the importance of making multiple smaller trades.

Roll on the next matches and more chances to learn.

Only the second time in Test history a side has won when declaring after lunch on the final day. Ignominy for England.

Shuffled the green around now between the draw and a India win will just let it play out now.

Greened out just before Hameed edges it though the slips. Not getting back in unless the draw gets back to under 1.2

Contemplating greening out so I can start supporting England but can’t help feeling that England are going to roll over now.

Heavy roller was a bad idea, seems like there’s more life in the pitch now

@james-woodroffe said in BTC Cricket Trading Thread:

Had to have a draw lay at 1.16 playing with profit.

Also a back of India at 6.0 before Burns wicket.

Not sure what the point of that 12 minutes was. YJB opening? Could make laying the draw interesting

Gave the game away this morning. Should have bowled properly. It's been good for me though. Laid Eng around 3.7 and steadily taking green now. Wondering if it's worth a lay of the draw when we bat.

It's in situations like these where we really miss Archer. Think he would have blitzed them out pretty quickly - as long as Root didn't decide to put everyone on the boundary for players with averages of 8 and 3. Dismal captaincy.

@richard-futter I think it meanders to a draw now. England at 10.0 I’ve wrapt up for this one.

Or England get rolled but shades of NZ test again yes.
