@clare-taylor No real surprises for me, Ben Stokes not being available is massive but something's are far more important

T20 World Cup squad has been announced. Anyone got any thoughts?

I'm looking forward to seeing Livingstone and hope Malan lives up to his reputation.

I'm loving the lay of the draw again at Old Trafford. Looking at both the BBC and Met Office forecasts, there will be rain but not nearly enough to justify draw odds of 2.5.

Only one of the last 12 matches in Manchester has ended in a draw - although, admittedly, only one of those was in September - and with India facing Covid issues, we could easily see another England bounceback.

Australia are the only visiting side to have won there since 2001, and a draw is useless to England. They have to be proactive and press for a result. I don't see Kohli setting out to draw the match either and - barring two days of rain - I'll be amazed if the draw price doesn't trade at least double it's current price.

I won't be laying beforehand though, as it always pays to see the lie of the land tomorrow morning when the price could easily dip in with early rain or a decent opening stand.

It will certainly be worth keeping a weather eye on the rain radar.

Learning lesson after yesterdays greed and greening up at 2.08

Tidy profit for the day, nothings really come up in the St Kitts v JT game for me, may wait and see how St Kitts fair after 10 overs and look at a lay other wise that's me done for the day.

Laid Ireland at 1.6 think there is still value laying that at 1.8 will be a long slog for them to win this.

Not as easy as expected there, only 7 boundaries in the innings and great fielding from NZ

Will lay New Zealand at next wicket if it hits 7 or under

    got in at 6.5

46 runs needed in 54 balls

boom, up to 24 already, 36 runs in 49 balls, I'll hold this one for the full stake

Just a couple lay to backs on Ireland and Bangladesh for me, both and in and out within a couple of overs.

    Roll on CPL at 3

ENGvIND Looking at the weather radar it looks like there will be minimal rain in Manchester on Friday morning as it stands and pretty clear for rest of the test.

Not sure how long draw price will stay where it is so will be having a small lay on the draw and will top up if it drops much lower assuming no change in forecast.

Draw price drifting again, think this will keep rising now

Backing NZ not normally a pre game trader
Runs on board huge on these doctored pitches
    Looking for 1.8 remove red
    Also boosted with Finn Allen
Domestically was a gun see if produces

    Whoops
Could do the blame game but uppercut self

We will have a delayed start in Belfast due to a damp pitch. Historically here it’s a win toss bat first and win ground but the condition of the pitch may change that.

Lots of cricket today, starting off in Belfast with Ireland and Zimbabwe at 10.30 with ODI, T20 with Bangladesh v New Zealand at 11 and then two CPL games, I’ll likely give the midnight one a miss.

Looking to trade the first few overs only on all 3 of these, I got a little greedy yesterday in JT v TKR and held a lay on TKR longer than I normally would have done and then Pollard just cleaned up.

Thankfully JT were so poor it was easy to win this back plus a little extra so no harm done but took up a fair bit of time and that’s why I’ll be leaving the midnight game.

Forecast is poor for Thursday and Friday so could be a good call.
